Our four-season, adult-only bed and breakfast is the perfect place for you to unwind in the tranquil outskirts of beautiful Riding Mountain National Park.
Located near the south gate entrance to the national park, Riding Mountain House features updated, comfortable guest rooms in a tranquil and private location. Each of our spacious, air-conditioned guest rooms contains a full private bath. Guests share access to a kitchenette that includes fridge, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, and kettle.
Enjoy scenic sunsets from around our outdoor firepit and BBQ area, or in the cozy comfort of our large screened-in sunroom. It’s all about the great outdoors so enjoy the views while you access our barrel sauna and Jacuzzi hot tub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Fiancé and I had an amazing winter getaway at Riding Mountain House. Everything about this place was perfect. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of room for all the stuff we overpacked for our two-night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a small table and chairs to enjoy our morning Nespresso. There was plenty of variety of breakfast items. And Cookies! Plenty of cookies! The sauna and hot tub was an added bonus. We would start every day with a schvitz in the sauna and enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a day of adventuring. Dawna and Barry are great hosts with great local advice. There are endless hiking trails right out the door. We took the snowshoes out one day and saw a Moose! We can't wait to book our next stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with our experience at Riding Mountain House. Great location just minutes from RMNP. Spacious parking in the rear of the building. Hosts were excellent. Great communication before and during the stay. Rooms are VERY clean and spacious. Well decorated and very home-y. Outdoor space had a BBQ and a very nice hot tub. Kitchen had dishes, pots pans, stove top and convection oven for small snacks/ quick meals. Large fridge to keep drinks cold. Breakfast was great! Loved the Nespresso and the little egg/ham bites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed at Riding Mountain House several times over the years in the Birch, Oak, and Spruce rooms. They were always clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I appreciated the private bathroom, natural light, and decor. The breakfast options were always delicious.
Dawna and Barry are wonderfully kind and gracious hosts! All this and the prime location keeps me coming back year after year!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful set up to make you feel at home! Dawna was very welcoming and kind. The pet friendly suite was wonderful for the two of us and our dog (65lb pup!). We loved that breakfast was available when we needed it instead of scheduled like so many other B and Bs. The accessibility to the kitchen and its contents made it nice to be able to make ourselves snacks, lunch or, dinner whenever we wanted. Great assortment of breakfast choices! Loved the beautiful well-taken care of property. All the extras were great - hot tub, sauna, fire pits, and giant porch! Rooms were great and clean! All the extras like makeup wipes and robes made it even more lovely! Highly recommend this place and we hope to go back soon!
