★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the campground for the first time this summer. The campground is very well taken care of, the washrooms and showers are kept clean and the camp sites are very well taken care of. The town was a 15 minute walk from our site and along the way you have the beautiful view of the lake. The only reason I did not give full stars was the beach. We found the beach too rocky and hard to enjoy for the little ones that can't go very deep to get away from the rocks. But over all we enjoyed ourselves very much and found everyone so friendly. We were very happy to find a spot at the end of the beach for the dogs to go swimming with us. That's always a plus for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places to camp in Manitoba. A little bit pricey compared to other campgrounds but it's cheaper compared to booking a cabin or a hotel near the park. Otentiks are clean and worth the price. Just be mindful of wildlife since there are a lot including black bears, and because of that you need to keep your food inside your vehicle at night or when you are away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best national park in the prairies. Recent upgrades to the washrooms to make them barrier free. Great to have free hot showers when your camping. New process for fire permit, adds $8.00 to every night stay if you want a campfire. Allows for as much wood as you want now. Watched as trucks filled up their flat beds. Online booking system is simple to use. Would be good to see a more proactive system free up spaces on busy weekends. Lots of free activities to do, interpreter centre was just renovated. Well done changes and washrooms gender neutral. Would like to see parks and sub contractor security vehicles electric. Watching security vehicles sit idle at park gates and drive around all day and night in our national parks is poor stewardship. Why not patrol on electric bikes and engaging with the public. Very small footprint for space to cover. Electric sites are a plus with devices, easy to walk and bike around town. Watch for kids every where. Everyone was respectful of the quiet 11 pm curfew. Enjoy the free park campfire events. Worth the drive from Winnipeg or Saskatchewan to visit. One of Manitoba gems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the last 3 nights here and we’re so lucky we got a last minute spot! The campground is beautiful; the spots a nice size, trees with full service. It was a nice walk into the small village. The only thing I would change are placement of proper fire pit rings but that is very very minor!
