We have stayed here four times and already have the fifth booked. Immensly clean cabins, beautiful property and the nicest most comfortable owners. There are quite a few things to do in the area, but spending a day or two on the ranch is one of the most relaxing things we can do. Great for families, make sure you sign up for the breakfast!

Wonderful ranch get-away ! We had an awesome time this late summer at Ride the Wind Ranch and will definitely go back for another get away from the city next summer. I'm so glad I found this very special and relaxing place in the country; Kathy is such a kind and welcoming host, we felt at home right away, especially since she told us we should feel at home and explore the whole ranch and go pet their gentle horses on the pasture anytime we want. Which we did and we loved to have that experience! Next time we'll plan we'll bring a big bag of apples to feed them. No Wi-Fi, no TV, was what we wanted, instead sitting at the campfire, playing board games and reading our books

Kathy and Marty are such warm, welcoming hosts that when we come to the ranch we feel like we are visiting friends. We have brought family from overseas to spend a couple of days at the ranch, and they say it was their favourite part of Alberta. Whether you want to head out hiking, go down to Crimson Lake, or spend your day reading on the porch or sitting by the fire, there is lots to do. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is such a treat. Our times at the ranch are always so comfortable and enjoyable and we feel right at home. We are already looking forward to finding time for another visit.

What a nice place to stay! Kathy is a very warm and welcoming hostess and the ranch a very nice place to stay. It is well situated with a great view on the Rocky Mountains. Horses, cows, birds and regularly some deer are walking around. The cabins are comfortable and clean and provide enough privacy. Outside, there is plenty of space and opportunity to cook or BBQ a meal, or light up a fire. All in all a very nice place to stay and come to rest!

We loved everything about the Ranch! Kathy was amazing, and so happy to chat and offer suggestions on activities to do in the area. We had such a fun week - playing games, feeding horses, hiking, and at the lake. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Such a cozy (and super clean) cabin with a gorgeous view from the porch! We loved the ranch setting, loved to pet and cuddle their horses. From the ranch we went out to Araham Lake and did the Siffleur Falls hike and the Hoodoo creek hike, then back to relax at the ranch, grill our steaks on the BBQ on our cabin's porch and later roast marshmallows over the campfire and look at the stars. Kathy is a great host, texted me all the info. We chatted with her once along the fence to the horse pasture; the cabin is self-check in with key box code, which was nice especially in this Covid time. She also leaves at least 24 hours between booking. We stayed last fall and will book soon for this coming fall, this time booking a horseback riding with a place Kathy recommended

Amazing! Our second time staying at the ranch. The cabins are spotless, cozy, and so comfortable. They really put so much effort into making you feel right at home. The ranch itself is peaceful and quiet. They have great space for kids to play. You get your own fire pit and BBQ. The hosts are super friendly and kind. We love visiting!
