★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife & I have been going to Ricki's for years and always go for the Liver & Onions meal.
Usually always a great dinner, except for this last time. The Liver was still really good, crispy fried, but the nice rich Hunter Gravy we usually got was different, just regular gravy mix. The Liver was still topped with enough fried onions, but instead of grilled fresh vegetables and real mashed potatoes we were very surprised to be served really wet instant mashed potatoes and obviously frozen mixed vegetables.
What happened Ricky?
Our waitress said, new owners and cutting cost.
Too bad, tell me you've gone back to the original version and we'll be there for dinner again, otherwise you've lost a couple of dedicated customers. I'll be making my own Liver the way you used to..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ pm and I was asked to show my vaccination credential and government I’d. No problem and I also had my mask on. From behind me came two persons that walked right in asked nothing, showing nothing I asked why this is procedure, I was told, it’s ok, they know the manager. I replied knowing the manager tough, this is a pandemic. Next one of the waitresses kept calling me dear. I asked her please do not call me that she kept on doing that. I recommend not going to this restaurant because if they are skipping rules regarding government pandemic what else are they skipping. Not happy camper at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great takeout food & experience. Able to accommodate requests, they really listen and give you just what you asked for! Been ordering takeout throughout this shutdown experience and we've always recieved excellent tasty food and felt really appreciated as customers. Even the time I ordered the stir fry as a vegetarian meal, it was still fantastic! Breakfasts, burgers, it's all been good. Nice change from cooking at home. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Service was lacking. Server dropped off our food and never came back again. I was waiting for a refill the whole time but she never even walked by again. It's not like it was busy at 1pm on a thursday. 20 mins later she appeared with a bill. When we did see her she was very friendly and chatty. I'm wondering if covid rules restrict her from coming to check on customers while they eat. I'm used to servers frequently asking how the food is and if you need anything else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to Ricky's on 64th for 10 yrs. Breakfasts always good,since pizza famoza came in, food standard has dropped way down, prices way up! To pay for new decor ! Lost its friendly atmosphere shame.wont go back again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was busy. Only 2 server they was really doing a good job serving everyone in time. Food was ok. My breakfast veggie bowel had a bit different test from the one I use to order at walnut Grove the Ranchero hollandaise wasn't even close. it tested like a ranch with bunch of tandoori spices on it. it tested very weird.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and food very tasty. We arrived just as doors opened at 8. Because the restaurant is attached to the Best Western, if you are wanting a hot breakfast this would be it. We ordered the traditional eggs Benny and the breakfast bowl. Both delicious. We also asked for 2 scrambled eggs to go for our dogs and it wasn't a problem!
