From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to stop in for lunch, first time trying this location and unfortunately it seems to be a place to avoid.
Guests in front of me were seated promptly, then waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. A simple "just a minute" or "Please wait" would have been good enough. The group behind me asked if I'd been acknowledged at decides to leave after I said no.

For the same money that you would spend on fast food you can have a pleasant sit down at a clean table and have a nice fresh warm meal.
Way better than eating a hotdog over your lap sitting in your car.
Clean, kids friendly, good staff.
Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant. My sister and I always stop here after our annual Ikea shop. The owner is so kind, welcoming, sincere and seems to always be working when we stop in. He welcomes you like an old friend and is so grateful for us stoping in.
The food is always great, and the service is always amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We both had fish and chips and I must say the fish was very greasy possibly because the deep fryer was not hot enough. The last time I was there I had breakfast sausage and was also disappointed. Too much has changed over the past couple years and unfortunately I probably won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m hoping it was just a bad experience and not the normal course of operations here. The food was slow to come out and missing items that we confirmed were on the menu. Based on the portion and quality of the items were ordered I think it is over priced. Everything else was okay at best. Overall will likely never set foot in this location again, and will certainly do my utmost to never enter another Rickis if there are other options. Very disappointed.

Found out my servers name CINDY amazing server if you get her you will be lucky. All the staff is nice though
