โ โ โ โ โ Despite being super busy and experiencing a frustrating computer crash on their end, the crew over there was stellar. Tiliya was a total delight to work with and her knowledge of the product and needs of customers was unflagging. We bumbled around on our end to get her proper measurements and pictures, yet she persevered with us in a spirit of grace and kindness. It was a special joy to learn that this business is a small family outlet. Our structure is up and looking stellar. We were able to personalize it exactly as desired. We're totally satisfied. Highly recommended for DIY'ers! Although just make sure to get the instruction handbook! We forgot to get it at first. Once we had it, it was a snap (well, and then with lots of lifting and screwing too!)

โ โ โ โ โ Back in 2006 we purchased our Aluminum Patio Roof system from a local dealer here in Nanaimo BC, they were a dealer for Richmond Aluminum Products at the time. Fast forward to December 2018 when our roof was damaged by flying sheets of plywood from one of the worst storms to hit Vancouver Island in years. The dealer we originally purchased our roof from no longer carried this product so I called the supplier to them, Richmond Aluminum. The lady I talked to there was great, I explained the situation and told her that in addition to replacing the damaged panel we wanted to extend the roof by 2 ft. She made sure I was sent every single item I would need to achieve this. The new roof panels were well packaged and everything arrived in very quick time. Richmond Aluminum's customer service is fantastic to deal with. While waiting for better weather to arrive we searched out a Patio Roof installer that was willing to do the repairs and we found "Ocean View Exteriors" in Ladysmith BC. "Easily found on Facebook". Rory, the owner came over hours after we made contact to give us a quote and within about 10 days came over to do the job. Rory is very professional and both he and his helper did excellent work repairing and building on to our patio roof. This is an excellent product that Richmond Aluminum sells and they really stand behind it even years later, and if anyone on Vancouver Island is thinking about buying a Patio roof "Ocean View Exteriors" should be your first call. Five Stars to both these companies!

โ โ โ โ โ I had Richmond Aluminum supply and arrange installation of about 60' of their aluminum privacy fence.
I had never seen an aluminum fence like it and found the clean lines and 'no maintenance' attractive.
Now that it is installed, I couldn't be happier with it. The light neutral colour of the fence transformed what had been a dark, north-facing walkway into a light and bright corridor. I am amazed at the difference it makes.
The neutral colour of the fence also acts as a blank canvas to showcase plantings. I treated each fence panel as a separate 'garden' with different plants. The fence makes the plants the stars of the show.
I really enjoyed my interactions with Tiliya at Richmond Aluminum. She was very responsive and helpful, smoothing over any hiccups in the process. She was a delight to do business with.
The fence was also reasonably priced and we hope to enjoy it for many, many years to come.

โ โ โ โ โ We ordered our custom roof and received it within 5 days, when we arrived for pick up the staff helped load but went above and beyond to make sure the load was secure. Every team member we met were so lovely. The product is awesome and the kit came with everything you need to assembly properly. For the price everything exceeded our expectations.
