★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Use to dislike this hike as the first hour was boring and that’s all my family ever did before they turned back. Recently went back and I guess since the 2013 flood the creek has changed drastically and is allot more interesting right off the bat and finally made it up to the falls witch were way bigger then I thought. Warning if your trying to get to the lake like we were you will not be able to with large dogs as there are chains you have to use to climb up the cliff after the falls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful hike up to a gorgeous waterfall. The hike is very much a beginner or intermediate level hike, mostly flat for a total of about 20km from the parking lot to falls and back. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very scenic trail, my boyfriend and I did it together last weekend. We love how the trail wraps around the creek. There was still a bit of snow on the ground towards the end of trail. Definitely one of my favourite trails in the Kananaskis Country!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular falls, excellent hike for all ages but must be capable of 22km round trip. Always frustrating to see litter left behind however.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great trail and not overly busy, however you need to be bear aware here as we saw 2 coming into the area from the highway. Couldn't make it to the lake as there was an avalanche recently, still worth the hike.
