At the end of November 2020, my family and I experienced a massive flood in our house. That day was an extremely traumatic situation for us, as nothing like that had ever happened to us before. The fear of the unknown began to sink in quickly. The flood damages sustained, were to all three floors of our house. An exacerbating factor that made matter worse, was that this happened to our brand-new house and the majority of the damages that occurred were to the basement area that we literally just finished renovating. When we called our insurance company, they provided us with an estimated time of arrival for their preferred flood restoration contractor of 3 hours. Although this was a fair and reasonable time-frame, we just decided to call another company as well, just to see if we could have gotten someone at the house quicker. That was when we were introduced to the company, Restoration Canada Inc., - after a quick google search of “floor restoration companies.” Right from the immediate contact with the company, despite the late hour of night, they displayed professionalism, provided us with an ETA of about 5-10 minutes and instantly provided us with a sense of calm about the situation. Once members of their company arrived, they explained everything we needed to know and detailed out all the necessary steps that they would take to remedy the situation. This pertinent information instantly put us at ease, and allowed us to properly understand what was happening, which reassured us that we were in good hands with this company. The weeks following, we were met with members of their company, Angel and Alex who play a instrumental role within the company. They walked us through, step by step, the emergency work that was going to transpire. Shortly after, we even received multiple visits from the company’s CEO John ALARCON who all three individuals are true examples of consummate professionals. Restoration Canada Inc. provided us with the Emergency work, demolition and repairs that we needed to completely restore our home back to its original state. They provided us with, detailed work estimates, maps, diagrams, photographs and proper documentation for our records. They even set a group chat up on our mobile phones which allowed for better communication between us and them. I want to commend Restoration Canada Inc. for their prompt, rapid and good quality workmanship of a horrible situation turned tolerable and manageable for the homeowner. We suffered water damage at our condo and received excellent service from Restoration Canada. They were able to identify the underlying issue quickly, implement measures to mitigate the damage, and worked with us and our condo board to plan and execute the repairs in a timely manner. The team came out on short notice and started the job quickly. Very impressed with how well they sequestered the damaged area to keep the debris and dust contained. Excellent clean-up.

We noticed water damage in our basement and contacted Restoration Canada. Within a few hours they were here and helped with the cleanup process. They were very professional and responsive through the whole process of cleanup and restoration. They helped us navigate questions coming from insurance and making sure we have all the support to make the claim. All in all, they made the experience seamless! We have used Restoration Canada twice after our plumbing system failed both times. They are one of the best professional contractors I have ever worked with and I have overseen many renovation projects over the past decade. From the very beginning both times, John and his crew responded right away when I called even on Sunday evening and sent men to start the clean up process before the flood got worse. They were disciplined about wearing masks and laying down floor protectors to get all the equipment in the basement. Because we had to tear the flooring and drywall, they were very helpful and thorough about packing up our belongings well and storing them safely. During the clean up, they were once again thorough and removed all the flooring, drywall to ensure it could all be dried before the water could spread. And helping us manage through the insurance process was once again an incredibly helpful process as they helped us navigate all of the estimates and paperwork. Our insurance, Desjardins even said that Restoration Canada are one of the best contractors to work with. Lastly, we had them help with the renovations and they did an incredible job restoring our home flawlessly and while keeping the area clean and wearing a mask throughout the entire process. We have used Restoration Canada twice now and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

With water pumping into my basement I frantically dialed restoration canada from a Google search. They answered on the first ring and were at home inside of 90 minutes. The issue diagnosed and repaired same day. The remediation, coordination with insurance and subsequent work was first class. The team are experts, polite, friendly and efficient. COVID protocols were observed without us having to ask. Our family schedule came first and all the work was done when it made sense to us. Yet it was still quick. Best contractor experience I have ever had by far. Can't recommend these guys enough.
