★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to dine in Waskesiu. Gary, whom I believe the own is an unreal human being and has such a great character.
Dining here you can certainly tell that the team is like a family and works hard to provide its guests with a high end experience while in one of Canada’s national parks...
On this visit only pastas were ordered as we were just stopping for a quick rest.
This restaurant is definitely a 3 course meal destination as all it’s options are lovely and although pasta the past and dessert was tasty my thought is that an added appetizer or salad also would’ve paired well.

I want to thank all the Staff..and I mean the entire staff. Everyone there was friendly, accommodating, and above and beyond with customer service.
I feel we paid a reasonable price for the high end food and service we received.
How many places do you know that can serve a soft, cooked to exact perfection steak? Chef and staff...I cant say enough about just how impressed we are! Hands down the best meal I have ever had!
WOW...SEE YOU ALL WHEN WE ARE BACK IN TOWN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for Grandmother’s birthday and WOW! Welcome greetings/smiles from the moment you approach the door all throughout from the staff. The Owner came to greet us and was very kind offering to buy Grandmother her choice of dessert; a rhubarb Panna cotta. The food is incredible and I was very impressed. Would definitely recommend coming here. They put a special/personalized touch on customer service really going the extra mile.
Thank you for making today extra special.?
Will be back again !

Our new favourite restaurant at the lake! Thank you for a perfect evening!! UPDATE: I wasn't joking about going back. We dined at Restaurant Pietro four times this summer. Without exception, the experience and food is the best that Saskatchewan has to offer. We will be lifelong customers. Thank you Gary, Garry, and the amazing team at Restaurant Pietro!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called on short notice on a rainy day today and luckily got the last available table out on the patio (but with a heater and sheltered from the softly falling rain.) We were so lucky. it was delicious, the service was impressive and our selections were a perfectly matched group of foods which showed all the talent this chef and kitchen have to offer. The Calamari appetizer was one of the best versions of this classic we have ever tasted; crisp but light and the calamari itself was the most tender. our mains were the Innisfail Alberta rack of lamb and the Lobster spaghettini. both were amazing. as a side we ordered the smoked scallops. again the amount of lobster was impressive with the hand made pasta. the lamb was outstanding and the scallops were perfectly done, tender and smokey. a really really impressive supper!!
