★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a simple plate of goat meat and ended up getting a dish of bones and disappointment. The meat was boiled and sautéed instead of being grilled, the texture was elastic, it had no flavour and there were way too many bones. i basically paid 22$ for cold rubber and cartilage.I was excited to hear about an African restaurant opening in Gatineau so i decided to come support a local black business. After this, a 20 minute drive to Ottawa doesn't seem that bad. YOU HAD ONE JOB

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greatest restaurant in town, owner and the servers are the most hospitable people! Jennifer and Delicia treated us like Kings and Queens!! Great experience, food was amazing and the drinks as well! Would recommend anyone who hasn’t been to go and have a good time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst restaurant experience. First there was no one to greet us. Waited for over ten minutes before someone showed up. Second, they did not want to give us a menu instead asked us to scan a QR code for the menu. Then, we had to wait for over an hour for our food. When 23$ fish arrived it was small and not cleaned. The smoked spinach was over salty. I did not ate the fish. The restaurant has potential, but as it's managed now, going there will be a waste of time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is great there and the vibes. But the service is a bit slow mostly because it’s always busy I would assume, but they should hire more people if it’s too busy. Otherwise people will stop coming there. The overall experience there is nice tbh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place and decoration is perfect! The service is very poor. Long time waiting, 30 minutes changed in one hour and half! no one to respond the calls for making orders! Food: The chicken was bad! It was cotsco barbecue in microwave! But the spinach and smoked fish was perfect!

one hour wait for our take-out). Sadly (for me) I did not finished my plate. Fish too dry and not cleaned, spinach too salty.
