Resident Tree Service provides a variety of arborist services to Calgary and South Central Alberta.
With a Certified Utility Arborist we are able to safely work around power lines. No matter what the tree situation we are confident we can get the job done. Our tree services include tree removal, tree topping, tree shaping, stump grinding, hedges and land clearing. We pride ourselves on keeping all work sites clean. Trees can be cut into firewood lengths for your use or we can remove all the wood when we leave.
At RTS we also offer 24-hour emergency services for broken trees and trees near power lines. You can count on us to get the job done both safely and efficiently.

To have him act so inappropriately in public while representing your company does not look good for your brand. I can safely say I would not choose your company based on his behavior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cory went to my neighbours and quoted their tree. He then gave me a quote of 650 to trim what I had asked initially- limbs over powerline, garage and neighbours. But then later didn't want to fulfull the service at that price. Told me he was only going to cut a couple limbs over the powerlines for that price and if I wanted the other initial limbs to be cut that it would be double the price. Prices should be honored and not changed. You are the expert, I am not. Customers have their heart set on what you initally quote, not jump prices. Honor your service and quote.
Seems like I am not the only one this happened to. I wouldn't recommend - waste of time and not a true honest quote. Found someone else better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I wish I could comment on the quality of their work but I cannot because they never showed up . There were three times they swore they would show but they never did. I can understand that things happen and plans have to change but they never even called to explain or apologize. I explained that I had scheduled a fence building company so I needed the work done by a certain date but they didn't care. I am absolutely amazed that they can even stay in business or perhaps they are just some practical jokers with a website and a phone number.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID this company. My handicapped brother booked the work and was charged $450 to remove some Manitoba maple saplings on the north and south sides of the garage. He had asked for all the trees to be removed from the north side and wasn't able to go out there to confirm with Cory for the estimate. I met them on site and asked them how many hours $450 was worth and Cory told me they charge by the job. It took only 20 minutes and they only cut off 3 MM saplings. I talked them into cutting off a mugho pine which was included in the overall 20 minutes. I feel they took advantage of my brother because he isn't mobile. I met them there but they were not at all interested in even putting in a half hour worth of work. Lesson learned that this company will TAKE ADVANTAGE and NOT WANT to provide you with decent service for your money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, they gave me a price to remove my tree, then showed up at the house and informed me they had "accidentally looked at my neighbor's tree" when providing me with a quote. They then said they would not complete the job for the quoted price, and provided a new price which was more than double the initial quote ($1200 vs. $550).
I stated that this was not my issue, however would be interested in trying to offer a fair compromise, which would be offering to pay only $50 less than my next-lowest quote (to accommodate for the quoting error on their end). They said they would not complete the job for that price.
This is a completely unacceptable way of conducting business, even after my efforts to try and mitigate the error on their end. I'm very unhappy and would not recommend their services to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a disaster of a time with this company. Cory, their sales representative, gave me a quote for the removal of the trees and two extra stumps on my property. I asked for an emailed copy which he did not provide. He said that it would happen at 930 on a date. Instead, one of the trees (not all as confirmed twice) was removed the day before it was supposed to happen. The company did NOT inform me of their going onto my property and I did not consent to them only doing half the job. He also "forgot" to tell me that stump grinding does not occur on the same day and that he could have the tree removal people come by "at any time if it suited their schedule." When 930 came the day promised there were no further workers, I instead received an invoice for half of the job and no clarification on anything. He then refused to price-match with another company after he had messed up and I was trying to give him an out. Avoid this company!
