★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of equipment. I rented a aerator and dethatcher to do my yard. So I get them home and second pull on the cord and it snaps off. Attempted to fix it but the recoil was in pieces. At the time the store was closed so I didn't try to call. I brought it back in the morning and I wasn't offered a refund or discount for the machine that didn't work. They did offer a different one but I already used my lawn mower with the dethatcher blade and got the job done. The guy I was dealing with was extremely rude and didn't care that I paid for some old junk that didn't work.
All in all the equipment is really old and worn out. I would not recommend this place. Just save your money and go to home depot for newer equipment .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time phoning in to ask about a spark plug I needed, and instantly got put on hold (the tone of the lady who picked up was very rude mind you). Literally spent 20 minutes on hold until I just hung up, as there are other places I could be phoning. Clearly they don’t need or want the business, and like wasting people’s time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately my uHaul rental experience with them was a really bad one. Although the customer service was friendly, they did not inspect the trailers before renting them out. The first one had zero brake fluid for the emergency brake system so before I even left the yard I asked the employees who told me "You have to take it to Kal Tire as we do not service the equipment here." So off to Kal Tire and after a while they call me and tell me there's definitely leaks and they need to take the wheels off of it and recommended getting a different trailer...
The second trailer had almost nothing in the brake fluid sight glass, which I presume is just residue, but now I'm already two hours behind my scheduled trip to LeDuc, so I take it anyways. Testing the emergency brake cable for the trailer? It isn't adjusted properly with the chain for it, so it doesn't even trip! Yikes! So I had to fix that. They also didn't give me a locking pin for the flip-down style of lock the hitch uses so I had to find my own...
So during the rental process? Twice they asked if I'm going to Edmonton, I said no I'm going to LeDuc but they said I can drop off the trailer anywhere which is fine, but they failed to mention being subjected to a service fee for dropping it off at a different location in LeDuc than the designated one they put me at in the North-East corner of Edmonton which was VERY out of the way and inconvenient to me.
So trailers not inspected properly for safety, two hour delay and getting a service fee for dropping off the trailer in LeDuc when I said I was traveling there twice? I will not be returning to Rentco Tool Shed. I highly recommend anyone reading this to check elsewhere for auto hauling trailers or to inspect every inch of the trailer because they do not.
