Renocon Design Centre

We contracted with Renocon Design Centre to complete a comprehensive renovation or our condominium unit located in a four unit Heritage Craftsmen Style building in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver. We originally discovered Renocon in 2016 when we attended the Vancouver Home Show and were impressed both with their well designed booth and their people who were very helpful explaining how Renocon managed the renovation process. Subsequently we met with Milan and Zami to discuss our renovation wish list and they were very helpful in providing design ideas, explaining the process, timing, cost etc. Prior to signing a contract we had several meetings both in their office and at our home to discuss the renovation. Having watched so many disastrous renovations on HGTV we were very leery of entering into a renovation contract however Milan took the time to allay our fears by providing references as well as a tour of a renovation that they were working on and we completed our own research by checking reviews on various web sites. We were impressed with the feedback we received and decided to proceed with Renocon. Our renovation involved the total remodel of our main floor including a larger re-designed kitchen, new flooring, new lighting and re-facing the fireplace. We also totally renovated our master bathroom and guest bathroom. During the entire process Milan and Zami and their construction crew were very responsive to our needs and addressed problems quickly and to our satisfaction. No renovation goes exactly as planned and the true test is how your contractor deals with issues when they arise. Throughout our renovation Renocon made sure all issues were dealt with promptly, clearly communicating our options and standing behind their work to ensure that we were happy with the end result. The bottom line is that we are extremely pleased with our renovation, and highly recommend Renocon, Milan, Zami and their entire team.

We just completed our third project with Renocon, a bathroom renovation. As with previous jobs, the work was completed on time and as contracted. Moreover, the entire team; Milan, Kia, Hamid and Masoud were professional, patient and good natured, always on time - arriving as scheduled and getting work done in promised time frames - and once again, bang on budget. Worth the price paid and highly recommended.

“Magnificent!” was the comment from envious neighbours when first seeing our updated West End condo. What was equally magnificent was the Renocon Team’s professional and responsive approach to our substantial renovation. From day one, Milan, Zami and the crew where there for us. Through design, destruction, reconstruction and finishing, questions were answered, issues were addressed and quality work was completed on-schedule and on-budget with a focused attention to detail. Of particular note was Reoncon’s no-nonsense approach to dealing with unexpected structural and plumbing surprises behind the original walls. Regrets? Just one – should have asked Zami for some additional design accents and features. Thank you Renocon – well done!

Milan and Zami were excellent in redesigning our small kitchen to make it more functional. They listened to our ideas and helped us through the many choices one has to make re flooring, lighting, appliances and colors. We am very satisfied with our choices. Unfortunately our project was longer than expected due to acetone being splashed on a couple of cupboard doors. These were subsequently changed, no questions asked and the outcome amazing. I would highly recommend Renocon - the quality of trades people good.

Kia and his team at Renocon were excellent to work with! Always professional and timely with their communications, and his team installed our new floors very quickly. I was shocked at how seamless the process was from start to finish. Kia went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly, right from the beginning. He was able to track down the original manufacturer of our existing hardwood floors, and although they had stopped making that particular model he was able to find a great alternative. I would definitely recommend Kia and Renocon, and would absolutely reach out to them again if we do any more upgrades.

We reached out to Renocon for a whole apartment renovation and we are extremely happy with our experience and the results. From design to construction, all communications were prompt and professional. For the design, Zami and Lauren considered our needs and preferences, and took care of things that we didn't even think of. They were open to our ideas and gave us excellent suggestions. For the renovation, we were kept up-to-date on the progress, and any issues and concerns were dealt with promptly; sometimes even before we noticed or realized. Overall, we are very happy with Renocon for our renovation.

Renocon renovated our kitchen which also included building a beverage station and refurbishing our hardwood floors. We were impressed with Kia Moghaddam's (Project Manager) professionalism and attention to detail. All the contractors who worked on our project were knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. They ensured our floors were protected as well as the hallway leading from our door to the condo building elevators. We are really happy with the quality of work and our kitchen looks great. We would not hesitate to recommend Renocon.
