I could see Rent, the musical, a young but very professional production.

It's a good space, but the rooms arent soundproof enough. Our dance class keeps getting drowned out by band practice.

Jim is very responsible and passionate about art and production work. The studios are always clean and perpared which create awesome experiences for clients.

A great facility! We rent this space for hip hop dance classes and there is a lot of room to dance, good sound system, and really easy to get to. Also love that they have a big parking lot.

Incredible experience. I've been working here for a few months and have been treated with the utmost respect. It is a fun and safe environment full of creativity and kindness. It is a home for starving artist and thriving musicians. For anyone interested, I would 100% recommend it.

I rented a studio space in 2018 and I have been negatively impacted by my experiences ever since. Jim, the property manager, engaged contractors to repaint the space. I was reassured that my work would not be touched. I was shocked to find that my possessions in the space had been moved and some of my work damaged in the process. When I brought this to the attention of Jim, he told me that we should meet and that only he, the girl who had let the painters in, and one of the painters would attend. I arrived and I was shocked to discover that instead of the small group, a large group of men were in attendance, none of whom, I learned, had actually been in the studio on the day in which my work was damaged. I calmly explained the situation only to have Jim lose his temper, shout at me and ultimately appear to try and intimidate me through a show of physical presence (his posse) and a raised voice. Not only did Jim lose his temper with me, but some of the men who he had gathered appeared to lose their tempers and one even made rude and angry comments at me. I was a young woman, in a small room, with a group of men who I found intimidating, who appeared to me to be angry; who had no reason to be there; who I had not been told would be present; who I felt even appeared to have memorized responses. I was trying to resolve a situation which resulted in damage to my work. Instead, I was met with the above behaviour. Jim never made any effort to repay me for the damage to my work or deposit, which, together, were significant. Here is the reality for women: we often feel threatened or scared because of the manipulative, sexist actions/words of men; this is not a comment on the courage or strength of women, because plenty of very brave and strong women have felt this, despite their bravery and strength. This is simply a reality. Why should these men be allowed to go on with their lives as if they were not a part of a situation in which I was bullied because I wanted to find a solution to a problem that I did not create? I urge women to avoid this business and its management.

Love Renegade's live theatre productions! The owner Jim has been in the music industry for as long as I've known him... about 45 years. He's one of those people who simply loves to do what he does and inspires those around him to be creative and have fun.

Renegade Productions has supported artists since they hosted the first Drift Festival several years ago. They allowed the use of their building to host our major art event for free and are known to have provided great art studios for to artists decades. We have had the best experience at Renegade!
