My “Plan”

My journey here has been a twisted winding path and shockingly enough, not a part of my originally dreamed-up plan. Because, as we know, life is impossible to plan!  

My “plan” was structured and well thought out: go to school, get a good job, get married, and have a family.  Then what?

This is where my dreams stopped. 

I had achieved everything on my list and was at a roadblock with no idea what I wanted for my life besides the typical role of a wife and mom. 

I was okay with my day-to-day rhythm, but I was far from thriving and I knew there was more. I knew I had so much more to give to this world, but no idea how or where to start.

In hindsight, I was far from okay.

Then, my content life was thrown into happy chaos when I was blessed to be a Mom. 

Along with all the joys of watching my son laugh, play and grow, I was also living in a world of fear.  

Fear of making the right decisions for our son, fear of societal Mom pressures, fear for my child living in this crazy world, fear of my families’ health... and the list goes on. 

My body began showing signs of stress and distress as I experienced the loss of two early-stage pregnancies. 

This was my body screaming at me to pay attention!

“How did I get here?” I asked myself.

Gradually, I began on a path to find myself again and my love of life that was missing. 

I began working with my mentor who helped me overcome fears, remove self-doubt and quiet my inner critic. 

I was able to release past experiences that were subconsciously preventing me from feeling worthy or deserving of creating change and following the dreams that I wanted for my life. 

Becoming More

Over time, through doing this work, my relationships improved, my stress level decreased, and I experienced a greater level of energy, joy and excitement for life.

I knew the big changes in my life were real when my husband started up a family kitchen dance party one morning! I could see that my commitment to my own health was creating an amazing ripple effect on my family. (Even our dog was happier!)

I have had the opportunity to see first-hand that happiness and fulfillment come when you start to work on yourself from the inside. It is only when we start prioritizing our own self-care that we can be in the position to excel in our career, relationships, health, mindset and everything else in between. 

When I found my spark again, I knew I needed to share what I had learned with others to ensure that they are supported when they need it.  

Through my work, I have gained insight into the things that really matter and impact our well-being and ultimately our health. In studying with a group of wellness and health practitioners, I have gained many insights into keeping the body, mind, and spirit in balance to enable true health to be restored.

Believe in Yourself, Rekindle your Health

I believe in people and I believe in health. 

I believe there are too many people that accept a life of sickness when they don’t have to. 

I believe that good health is available to everyone and by igniting the kindling and creating small shifts in your body, mind and spirit, together we can get you back on the path to health and love of life.

It is about restoring health, not re-examining all conditions to date; moving forward, not reliving the past. 

I can help you get back to health so you can embrace the grand adventure you were born to live.
