N	Norman Zhu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thai Nham provided exceptional service. He brought us over 30 glasses to try on. He made suggestions along the way. He can see what will look good on you and start bombarding you with glasses to try. That made the shopping experience fun and not intimating. He made us feel very relaxed and was patient. Other places would just hover over you and make you feel uncomfortable. Other shops wouldn't bring you glasses until you asked to try one. He speaks Cantonese, Vietnamese and English fluently. Free eye exam if you buy lens and frames together. The service was super fast. We arrived at 12pm. He helped us decide on the frames, after that we did the eye exam. By 2pm, the glasses were already available for pickup! SAME DAY! I went to a different store before and they said in 2 weeks it'll be ready hahaha!

Our recent visit is no exception and the glasses for our daughter were ready just shortly after 24 hours! The store is clean, product selection is wide, staff is competent, and customer service is super friendly. Highly recommended!
R	Rubi Torres on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely never coming here again. After many Reddit posts saying this is the cheapest place to get a decent eye test (that's not Costco) I came here. The eye test was fine I guess what really upset me is that they really have to sell you on glasses, which is fine! But after I paid my $70 for my eye test. They just hand me a receipt that says I can come back within a year and if I buy glasses, the eye test is free. 0 prescription. I almost walked out the store and went home before realizing. So I walk back to the counter and ask for my prescription. The man writes my prescription and his handwriting is NOT easy to read.. but whatever. I go home and I realize this man wrote half the prescription to force me to come back. If I paid $70, can I atleast have the prescription for BOTH eyes..?

They have tons of styles and a really nice price range so you have a lot of options (when it comes to affordability). The most recent time I went, Shane was super helpful and knowledgeable and recommended a lot of options that suited my style. I ended up buying two pairs of frames + lenses for a very reasonable price (compared to other places outside of Chinatown). I have recommended friends to Regent over the years and they have been very happy with their experiences. I also want to mention they have staff that speak a range of languages in the event English is not your first. I have heard staff speak Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Vietnamese which is really convenient for people. Thanks Regent!
R	Ryan Fang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Provide services for glasses, contact lens, and eye exam. They don't have rigid gas permeable contact lens here however. Their service is medium speed as there are some wait times, but time to produce the glasses is very quick, I often get a call between 1-3 days and they will have the glasses ready for pickup. They provide cleaning chemicals, bags, as well as starter contact lens solution. Staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Upon looking at glasses and browsing the selection. To my shock was asked if I could afford these Gucci frames I was interested in. Would not recommend this or any of their locations.
L	L Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start off by saying, every pair of glasses I have ever gotten from here has broken (typically leg) within 2 years. On top of that, Dr. Tomita is the least healthcare professional I have ever met. I brought up my concerns about dry eye and a high prescription with him over 2 years ago, and he told me it was normal and brushed off my concerns. He refused to even look at my eyes, aside from checking my prescription. I now see an ophthalmologist monthly because of the damage he has done over the years, and am in the midst of filing a complaint with his regulatory college. The front store staff are always quite friendly though and very happy to help you find glasses that look and feel great on you. That is the only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1. if you value your eyesight and optical health DO NOT GO HERE' response to owner's response: It is interesting you say that considering that I've brought up my concerns with the optometrist at least 6 times over the last 2 years. Your response is appreciated, however your service is no longer required. I have found an actual competent eye care team.
