Red River Valley Mutual Ins Co - Brandon

Six months ago (September 21, 2021) The building where my husband, my three children and I lived had a fire. More than 40 families were relocated to the same hotel. The person who attended us from The Red River Insurance Company was rude and he also didn't explain to us clearly what we had to do, He knew where we were going or doing to do, He didn't send us any money until more than a week and half later for $3,000 and the next one two weeks later for $3,000 We sent all the invoices but he didn't want to pay some invoice because why? We really don't know if you are away from your home what kind of things you don't have to get. The Red Rivers has paid for one year where we live now (1,600 ×12=19,200) but the adjuster send us $13,200 because he aready had send us $6,000 but now SIX MONTHS later we are still waiting for the payment for the container. Was a terrible experience and it made it worse dealing with this adjuster, we had to ask our friends and family for help because this company did not support us as it should. And now (April 14, 2022) we have to keep worrying about how to pay while we wait for that check. our building may not be ready until 3 years or more ☹☹ I think in six months we have to deal with these people again for the payment for rent for the next year. Taking this home insurance for my family was a terrible decision, it was sad for us the way they treated us, We stayed up so many nights since they demanded a list of things with prices of everything we had, questioning the bills against the things we had, forcing us to sign documents that we did not understand, So difficult for us ? ?
