★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at the front handing out masks is extremely rude. Ignorant to ppl coming in. Tossing her tongs on the table glaring at ppl speaking at ppl not to ppl. She told my wife she was not allowed to be in the hospital waiting with me. But yet lots of other ppl had family with them....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at Red Deer Hospital Emergency Department a few days ago with a very serious issue. The Emergency room Doctors and Nursing staff worked very quickly to figure out what was going on. I was admitted to hospital but due to a shortage of beds remained in Emergency room, through no fault of the excellent staff. The area they service is huge and between what they normally see and now also Covid the pressure on our Doctors and Nurses is high. Having said that , I was never treated so well from the Doctors to the Nursing staff. I cannot say enough. You will always have my support. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.
Note: Red Deer RCMP, Peace Officers, Police Services, Red Deer Hospital Security. While in hospital I was able to observe how our Law Enforcement really keeps us safe. Thank you, I do not know how you keep up with all the issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no signage in emergency to say that the parking is paid parking only. I got a parking ticket while waiting 7 hours with my 4 month old son at emergency. Had I known you guys are that money hungry and cant let people with real emergencies park for free I would have just walked 5 blocks with my 4 month old in the snow. Thanks for the ticket I can't afford all because we had a health emergency and you can't just put adequate signage so people are aware!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences for me. There was absolutely no urgency for anything. Absolutely disgusting the way they treat sick people in emergency old and young. That is your job to help people in healthcare. If you don't want to do it please find another job. Just no compassion there. I was very sick and they would not let my support person in which made everything worse. I ended up walking out and getting a ride home without being seen after having an embarassing anxiety attack. I have no idea where our tax dollars go? Avoid this place if you can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought a friend into emergency who had fallen down her front steps and injured her ankle/foot. The nurses were all so friendly and adept. The Dr who saw her ordered x-rays which were done in such quick time!! We arrived just after 7pm and were sent on our way, I believe around 9pm. Just wow!!! I hear so many complaining, that I wanted to make sure I left a 5 ? review! Bravo to the great emerge team at Red Deer Regional!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One week ago I ended up in ER. I had never been so sick in my entire life (it was not covid). The nursing and doctor staff were EXCELLENT. I simply cannot say thank you enough for your professional, upbeat and kind care. I had to stay overnight which was awful but staff were amazing. I don’t know how you do it especially when people are rude. You all deserve huge raises. Thank you a million times for making me well!!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had surgery on April 8/2022. The surgeon and operating staff were absolutely awesome. I was in unit 21 for recovery for 4 days. The day shift led by Camille and her staff and the night shift led by Imelda and her staff were incredible as were the the other professionals on this unit. They all should be commended for the outstanding care that I received. Thank you all for the wonderful care that I received.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drove about two hours to come to this hospital to get a follow up on some medical issues. i was so hesitant on how I’d be treated because pretty much every hospital I’ve ever been to, has been horrible. but this place as soon as I came into emergency, they were so kind and compassionate to not only me, but everyone I observed. asking if we need anything, wheelchairs or help going to the washroom.i was shocked to be honest! It makes a huge impact on people when the care teams are kind and compassionate. it’s an amazing place and I’m grateful for the care given today. the staff at the emergency desk deal with all kinds of people and they are so calm, collected and sweet. Thankyou for making this experience a good one for me, because it’s rare ? I wish my hometown had a place like this. it’s truly a Gem.
