★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a certified CATT-OG Practitioner and as a MB educator I took the Classroom Educator course instructed by Dawn Nieman and Valdine Bjornson through the Manitoba Reading and Learning Clinic, which I highly recommend. The course is essential for every educator to take as every Canadian classroom has several students who have dyslexia. Although already trained with the Orton-Gillingham methods, I gained more information and ideas and made gained invaluable connection with Valdine as a mentor. I am forever grateful with the knowledge that I gained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Valdine has been tutoring my son for over a year. He is a very active 9-year-old but she was able to engage him and keep him interested with online tutoring. During this time, he has gone from struggling with some CVC words to reading chapter books. It has been an amazing transformation for his confidence and mental health.
We feel so fortunate to have Valdine working with our son and to have her support through our journey!
