The industry is served by characters of all types, you name it and you'll find it. For me I value honesty and straight forwardness above all else. A real estate transaction is a significant event and the extra stress of whether to trust what you're hearing from an agent or not, is unnecessary. In my case Tom represented both sides. Realtors have imposed upon them strict rules of engagement and have to deal with both sides ethically and honestly. Toms behavior was ethical and fair. I feel he articulated my thoughts to the other side very well and the same in reverse. Where necessary he took the time to articulate a situation, and fairly pushed back with the other parties point of view. When I brought up an issue, he dealt with it until it was solved. The ability to deal with two parties at opposite ends of a table without causing offence to either side and winning their trust is a skill obtained through experience, in my opinion. Tom never asked me to write a review or asked for a compliment of any sort, he simply did his job, which is precisely the reason I took the time to write this review of my own experience.
