★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably nostalgia blind. Haven't been here in a long time. I don't know anything about baseball. I actually hate watching sporting events. But I'll get up early in the morning to watch baseball at this field. It's got a great atmosphere. It's not fancy or anything. No idea how to explain it. I still don't understand sports and I can't even say what I enjoy about being here. This is the antithesis of everything I should enjoy. Loud. Socially contingent. Out in the sun all day. Eye strain. But I really like this place. During the summer nights they'll have movies in the field and some people will put up these really fancy tents and ignore the movie to hang out with their friends. We just brought a blanket. At first I was like. Why are they here to watch a movie if they're not watching a movie? Now I understand. Field is magic. Fun to be there. Baseball sucks. Movies they pick suck. Being sweaty on a grass field stuck with your friends is just secretly something we all miss I think.
