This isn't just this branch but RBC as a whole. Can't get a person on the phone and can't email. Billions of profit I'm looking to add to it can't even speak to a person or even email the branch. If I can its not made easy..

Great Royal bank. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't go into the branch often to do stuff as most things I do can be done in the app, but if you are going to inquire about stuff talk to Matt if you can. He rocks.

Impossible to speak to anyone on the phone. The robot hung up on me! Hey RBC how about spending some of the massive profits that you β€œearned β€œ during the pandemic on some employees in customer service. One star is too generous!

The absolute worst experience I've ever had in a bank. Despite being my "home branch" (where I opened my first account in grade 7) - and knowing me and my family for decades - the 'assistant branch manager' (not a real title btw) decided to arbitrarily and without any reason put a 15 day hold on a cheque I have been cashing for years from a giant, reputable source that has never bounced a cheque in their existence - when told I would then be closing my account the assistant branch manager had zero reservations and rushed to train her new employee how to permanently close my account, not only losing my future business forever but seeing zero value in the decades of business history we have. All this ridiculous behavior over a $1500 USD cheque. What an embarrassing way to conduct yourself as a once respectable pillar of a community. I've been walking into that exact branch since I was in diapers and used to know all the employees because I went to school with their kids. Used to be considered family there and now I'm just a number they have no respect for whatsoever. Then I called corporate complaint line and their COMPLAINT VOICEMAIL INBOX FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY WAS FULL! HAHAHA! I wonder why. Can't wait till this failed institution rightfully collapses.

Expect to wait at least 30 min if you want to speak to a teller in person. Part of the problem is our senior population is in here doing things you can do online.

Worst bank ever. Cut off twice on phone calls. No calls back and next time I called on hold for over 30 minutes. Wooow great service from the biggest company in Canada. Hire more people. Trash service. Its No wonder people are going to cash and Crypto
