★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In comparison to other financial institutions I have visited, RBC services rank number 1. Denise was super friendly and thorough, and she promptly introduced me to a different specialist when I expressed interests. It was amazing, I felt like I was important.
Their floor staff needed more training. I have experienced ineptness from both the person behind the teller and the reception desk. One time, the teller left my presence three times to search for answers. Repeatedly leaving my presence to seek advices only created doubt on whatever he or she was saying.
Other times, the tellers are very patience and helpful.
Overall, I trust RBC with my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgraceful phone system. If you have any sort of accent, speech impediment, or a lisp the "virtual assistant" gives you 3 tries and then hangs up on you with ZERO options to talk to an agent. I called 11 times and finally managed to connect after yelling at the phone. I hope they get SUED to the moon and back for discrimination. Closing account moving to Scotia or CIBC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bank is a disgrace. The service has gone down the toilet. Even simple inquiries To get a phone number or speak to someone is more than the RBC can handle. My lawyer calls them the Jekyll and Hyde bank. Love your investments, treat you like a criminal on your loans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually ZERO!!! Debit card of person in hospital was lost and I was asked to cancel it. It's all freaking robots who misdirect and you have to start all over with the recordings!!! Absolutely horrific customer service, particularly for those who are not able or do not have access to technology. No help line that actually helps! I have an account with another bank with RBC and plan to close mine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't believe their website hours! Phone, if you can get through. On Fri 07 Jan I checked the hours before I went to bed. On Sat a.m. I was at the Main Branch doors 5 minutes before opening, after a 30 minute walk. There was a note in the window say something like, "Sorry. Closed for staff safety. Open Monday." A lot of help that was!
