★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here before when it was called Sushi Deco and was heart broken when I thought the owners moved. Though none the less they came back with a delicious slap to the face! Ramen Eight is a comfy and warm place to go for your Ramen fix, many choices and great customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried out Ramen Eight for the first time about 5 weeks ago. We have been going once a week ever since. This is as close to authentic Japanese Ramen as it gets! Beautiful flavour profiles, and presentation. The broth is delicious! The dumplings are out of this world! The noodles are perfection. Charming atmosphere, very friendly staff, good service.Try the "Parksville Ramen", it won't disappoint. Highly recommended. Will try and add some photos to this review in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: Went back a second time and had the Special - Ginger Shoyu. The wontons were so flavourful.
What am incredible hidden gem. I had the black tonkotsu and it was perfect. Pork was tender, broth was so flavourful, and the noodles were just right. Gyoza were so good! The woman working was so kind and attentive. Food was quick. Place is very small (4 tables), so you might want to make a reservation. Wish I lived nearby so I could go back again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best ramen I’ve had to be honest. I always get the black garlic tonkatsu (spicy) and it is SO GOOD! They get every aspect spot on. My fiancé and I go at least once a week - three times last week. Excellent value for the price. I’d also recommend adding an egg, cooked just right and so creamy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing authentic Japanese ramen! Our group is from Vancouver, have visited Japan numerous times, and we can honestly say the ramen here is delicious. We were so surprised to find this hidden gem! The Japanese lady serving us was so sweet and polite. We came at the beginning of our week-long trip and had to come back for our last meal before our ferry sailing.
The tsukemen noodles were so chewy and springy. The black tonkotsu ramen was seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend the mochi ice cream dessert. And you must try their homemade ginger ale!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Parksville. Definitely a must try we got take out and it was delicious! I'm from Vancouver and this place is better than a lot of ramen joints in Vancouver. Japanese owners, super friendly and fast service. Will definitely be back when we visit Parksville again! We tried the spicy tsukemen and the black garlic ramen! Highly recommended! Thank you Ramen eight!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family of four went out for a late lunch. It was a great atmosphere. Airy, comfortable, felt spacious. Had enough room for 4 tables of 4. We loved our meals. I had the Wonton Soup and my husband had the Pulled Pork Ramen.
