B	Burton Wei on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the galbi ribs and they were superb! Very tender and nicely balanced in flavours. We also had the spicy seafood udon and the bibimbob. Both also very tasty. We are definitely putting Dosirak on the list of places to eat when we are in town.

The food was fine - nothing to complain about, and that means a lot coming from someone born and raised in Korea! My issue resides with the server. It's a small restaurant so there was a single person managing the floor (greeting/ taking orders/ cleaning up, etc) and oh boy, did they hire the wrong person! He was curt in greeting us, no smiles. We asked politely if we could sit in the corner because we had a child with us, to which he replied an abrupt "no". Awkward silence ensued. We just smiled it off, thinking we mistook his tone as unwelcoming. After awhile we ordered our food and when it came, we noticed that he did not even set the table for 3 people as requested (the 5 yo doesn't count as a person?) when most restaurants would actually go the extra mile to bring children utensils. Nope. We asked for scissors so we could cut the food smaller. He looked at us like we were crazy. He didn't even offer to bring a knife instead. Nothing. A simple "sorry" would have sufficed. Walking out of the restaurant, on our first visit to beautiful Parksville, his curt, dismissive and unwelcoming attitude left a bad taste in our mouths that outlasted all our good experiences there. Very disappointing.
f	flora michaels on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i came here a while ago with my friends and i’m sure i left a review immediately after but i guess it didn’t go through :) i ordered a tofu bibimbap and it was the best i’ve ever had!! the girl working was very kind as well. it was a really hot day when we came by so we ordered water of course, but the bottles weren’t super cold so the girl put them into to-go cups with ice for us all which i thought was super sweet! i’m definitely going to come back here when i’m in Parksville again! make sure to stop by here if you love Korean food.

I had the spicy chicken rice bowl and it was super fresh, nice and spicy with big pieces of chicken, and the japchae was on point! Service was fast and friendly, and the place was very clean. Will definitely stop by again.
G	G Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and stellar service considering there were only two staff working. The food came out slightly cold. My suggestion would be to use piping hot stone bowls for the bimbimbap so the rice gets crispy and the food stays warm.

Place an order for pickup (it's packaged well in quality containers) and pay at the door, or dinner in(the smell is fantastic). Friendly staff to greet you as well! The food is so delicious and flavourful with the rice bowl portions being definitely enough for a healthy appetite and the price is reasonable as well! I will definitely be going back! Yum!
