★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local place recommended by locals when we were passing through town. Went for breakfast and it did not disappoint! The portions were generous and everything was true to form. Homestyle cooking and excellent service. Some dishes can be greasy, like the peameal bacon sandwich that was served in a fried scone, with egg and cheese - but so good! Definitely get one of those if you're not scared of a high calorie breakfast. Waffles were perfectly done and real maple syrup is available. They also did a great job accommodating kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for brunch after this year's Run for the Cure event and the restaurant was packed. We had to wait a bit but like other reviewers have mentioned: you know it's a good restaurant when people are lined up to get in! We all had ordered from the breakfast menu and were not disappointed and were definitely satisfied. The homemade bread was the best part of the meal - it's delicious. The one complaint I have was the breakfast sausage - they were those breakfast sausages with the orange/brown skin and white, greasy looking meat on the inside - you know what i'm talking about. If they switched over to the REAL breakfast sausages it would be perfect. In the meantime I will just stick with the bacon :)
