★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RR Plett Trucking has to date been one of thee most generous and committed companies I have worked for.
My experience with this Family based company is they work closely with their staff, accommodate their employee's specific situations, garner a comparable wage in the transportation industry, work honestly, openly and with integrity in their dealings with customers.
The Plett family, From founder Reg to son's Trevor, Troy and Tyler in their respective positions, from Manager, to Head Logistics to shop owner all, in my five (5) odd years experience with them, deal honestly, fairly and transparently whether with customer, employee or the general public.
RR Plett Trucking is the best family owned business I have ever worked for!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ july 29th 2021,went for getting hired as a local driver, i was told to sign on a form which prohibits a driver to get overtime after 45 hrs, which is a clear cut labour law violation ,although i was told that i can request my dispatch for overtime wages. what a joke you have made of driving profession. just refused it .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is family owned. By a really nice family. I aquired lots of knowledge working here. Everyone is dedicated to their job as much as possible. I think the bosses are the most dedicated and work as hard as everyone or more which is inspirational.
Its a good company to work for but some dedication is needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lumping at a new facility yesterday and right before my eyes I see my colleague screaming and shouting for help. As this reckless RR Plett driver pulls out his truck while knowing there is a live loader loading him. I don't know who the safety coordinator at this company is but he needs to be replaced asap. This was a very traumatic moment for me as I am learning how to load and unload containers. I hope the companies reviews this matter so moving forward these type of incidents can be prevented.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Add after company replied: I needed transportation not just a quote, manager was rude lacking professionalism. Patrick said is ok to take the job and on the day of I called for schedule and Ops Manager said no!
We found a serious company on short notice.
Initial review: The company I work for asked for a quote, we received the quote and Steve Gatto (Ops Manager) said they don’t have availability this week…couple days after when customs cleared the containers I asked them for updates and same Steve sent an unprofessional email saying they are unable to accept the containers! I called to clarify and he was so rude over the phone.
Do not recommend this poorly managed company!
