I bought a gas range oven from Best Buy. The two worker who arrived were in great spirits for a 7am install. My installation time window was from 7-8am and they were here at 7am on the dot. They were very friendly, informative and efficient. They were in and out in 17 minutes. They didnt make a mess and explained necessary things. Highly recommend.

Quickcontactors is the company that Canadian Tire uses to deliver online orders. Everything went smoothly until the actual delivery. We paid and additional fee to have the item delivered to a β€œroom of choice” instead of the front door. When the delivery person arrived he said that we didn’t pay for the β€œroom of choice”. We produced 2 invoices that clearly showed we paid for it. He still refused but suggested that if we gave him $100 cash tip he would deliver it to the β€œroom of choice”. I agreed to this because I had no choice. I couldn’t move the furniture by myself nor could I leave it at the front door. He also told us to request a refund from Canadian Tire for the delivery. I immediately called the customer service for quick contractors to report this. We were told we were entitled to receive β€œroom of choice” delivery and not to pay the delivery person anything additional. Once the furniture was in my deck I told him Quick Contractors told me not to pay anything additional. Delivery person was not happy! Then I received a follow up phone call from Pauline, the dispatcher from the Toronto Area. She basically accused me of lying and that nothing I had reported to customer service was true. In conclusion, I am completely dissatisfied with this fraudulent service.

They installed a new over the range microwave. They were fast and efficient, first removing the old unit, from the wall to out the door, never even putting it down; very nice. Then measured and installed the new LG microwave. They resealed the existing venting, connected and tested the unit and showed to us and explained how to use and clean the unit. Very easy going and professional. Would absolutely use them again. BTW this is not the first time this company has been in our condo, as we have used them for installation of new toilets and taps a few years ago. Great service both times.

Shoppers Wellness use’s this company. Quick contractors accepted the job for which I paid Shoppers in advance which was to be forwarded to Quick Contractors. This was to put up safety bars in a bathroom in a retirement facility. Even though Quick Contractors accepted the job knowing it was in a retirement facility and their contractor would need to be vaccinated or have a rapid test which the contractor refused to do. The contractor was also supposed to call me in advance as I had approximately an hour to drive to the job site which he never did even though Quick contractors assured me he would. Fortunately I was there 2 hours before he showed up. After calling Quick Contractors several times and a wait of several hours because the contractor would not enter the building and according to him would not get anything from Quick contractors for payment and he also had to drive an hour to the job site. Quick contractors finally called me back. The person ( Laura ) I dealt with was very rude, unprofessional, and rather than try and resolve the issue Laura admitted she was fully cognizant of the government retirement home rules that were in place and they accepted the job. Then she said it wasn’t her problem and hung up. Never ever use this company and if you do and the job goes wrong good luck and if you have to deal with Laura then double good luck Horrible horrible person to deal with. I have warned Shoppers Wellness of the issue and of using the totally incompetent Quick Contractors. I will also be letting as many as I can know of Quick Contractors total incompetence

Just woke up this morning to find my basement covered in a layer of water after having a new dishwasher installed, still trying to assess the damage... Update #1 - (Only 14 hours after initial post): I have since spoken to QuickContractors.com Inc. claims department. They've scheduled someone to come out and assess the damage tomorrow (Saturday) and determine next steps. Speaking with multiple people from claims and marketing has so far been a positive experience, very kind and understanding people. Currently hopeful and will see how the assessment goes. Update #2 - (A little over 5 weeks since initial post) As mentioned in the previous update, a contractor did come out and assessed the damage. They reported that the floor in the basement crawlspace where the water had pooled would have to be removed to dry the water out and then replaced. The subfloor around the dishwasher would have to be ripped out and replaced, which meant that kitchen and hallway tile had to come out and then replaced which is no small amount of work. I was pleased with QuickContractors that they signed off on the work and it begun very quickly. At this exact moment, the majority of the work is completed, just a small list of minor things left. I have really appreciated the concern and urgency QuickContractors put into rectifying this. I originally wrote this as a 1 star review when I first discovered the damage and had not yet had the opportunity to speak to anyone from QuickContractors. Ever since I got in contact with their claims department, they have been nothing but understanding and helpful. Life happens and I value more an ability to accept responsibility and help fix a problems when they arise. With that I have changed my review of QuickContractors 5 stars!

DO NOT TRUST QUICK CONTRACTORS TO DO PROPER INSTALLATIONS. In May 2021, I purchased a gazebo and paid $500 for "professional installation" which was arranged through Quick Contractors. Fast forward to December 2021, and we noticed the gazebo roof completely coming apart in a windstorm. My husband and neighbour put their safety at risk by disassembling the roof of the gazebo in the middle of the windstorm, so that the poorly secured roof panels would not fly off and injure someone or cause property damage. It was only at the point of disassembly that we realized the gazebo had been installed improperly, negligently, and most certainly not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Several brackets designed to secure the roof panels were simply left uninstalled, parts of the frame that were supposed to be bolted together were left hanging freely, and the top of the roof frame was lopsided (pictures below). Improper installation is most certainly to blame for this, as a neighbour with an identical gazebo, presumably properly installed, suffered no such consequences. It is telling that the two roof panels that the contractor bothered to secure with brackets stayed completely intact. At this point, we have an improperly installed, damaged, and roofless gazebo. We were referred to the Quick Contractors' claims department, after which we waited for two months to receive a letter that states: 1) the gazebo assembly warranty is only six months (presumably this only applies if the gazebo was properly installed in the first place; furthermore, the retailer from whom we purchased the gazebo clearly states that the workmanship warranty for hard-top gazebos is one year); 2) the gazebo was properly installed (this is simply untrue, as even a cursory examination of the photos below demonstrates); and 3) the gazebo is a "seasonal" item, by which I guess they mean to say that it is meant to fall apart in the winter? The manufacturer's website clearly states that this gazebo is a FOUR SEASON STRUCTURE and that the roof does not need to be removed in the winter months. Needless to say, the company's response consists of verifiably false statements, and the company just doesn't want to own up to the fact that they need to answer to this very expensive mistake that they're lucky did not lead to any injuries or property damage. Frankly, I've never felt so cheated by a company, and for Quick Contractors to not even try to fix the situation just adds insult to injury. I can think of several solutions that Quick Contractors could have suggested to resolve the issue, as I'm a reasonable person who, in the end, just wanted a functional gazebo installed.

STAY AWAY!! FAR, FAR AWAY!!! We purchased a hot water tank from Lowe's and Lowe's hired Quick Contractors to install the tank. As their installer was backing out of our driveway, he drove over one of our bollard lights, not only breaking the one light but also shorting out the other 13 lights along our driveway. My husband happened to be looking out our kitchen window and saw the entire incident. He saw the installer get out of his vehicle to survey the damage he had done only to drive off without alerting us. We contacted Lowe's to report the incident and were asked to submit a claim to Quick Contractors. After a several week wait, Quick Contractors denied our claim saying that the installer denies any wrongdoing and since we had no surveillance proof, they believe their installer. How convenient! Unless Lowe's pays our claim, since this disreputable company is their contractor, we will proceed to legal action on principal alone. My advice is to stay away from Quick Contractors and if you pay for installation services through Lowe's or any other retailers, tell them you don't want Quick Contractors to perform the service(s) because if anything happens, they will deny any responsibility and call you a liar.
