Quality Tool Repair has been keeping power tools running in Alberta for over 15 years. Since our humble beginnings in a 2,400 square foot power tool repair shop, Quality Tool Repair has become a thriving business with loyal customers who trust our experts with their livelihood.

First 6-7 weeks ago, when i dropped off a wash gun for repair, the technician was not helpful and almost wanted me to not open a claim, looks like he was a headache for me. So i told him i wanted it repaired because it was under warranty and less than a year old. They told me it could take up to 3-4 weeks to get my product repaired. After 6-7 weeks i had to call them back to discover that nothing was done and they did not hear from the manufacturer. So i asked if they can do something like send them a email or whatever but the lady said she is not a technician and that's how it works, basically just leave me alone and wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a compressor to Quality Tool Repair to diagnose and fix the problem. They got back to me, said it was a single part replacement and quoted me about $80.
When I inquired about the compressor, they said they were still waiting for other parts to arrive. Upon testing my compressor after the initial repair, they discovered there were other things wrong with it. Now they would have been well within their rights to call me, inform me of the problems, tell me what it would cost to fix them, and let me decide. But their company policy is to honour their estimate. Quality Tool Repair missed these additional problems, so they were eating the cost. $120.00 of additional parts and labour, all at no cost to me. Good service, friendly staff, and integrity to spare. I'll definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dropped my two Milwaukee power tools off here at the start of March and didn't get them back until June 17th. The cost to repair my hammer drill was the only reasonable part of this experience. When I declined to have my Sawzall repaired, as the cost to repair this would have been like buying another used tool, the reception picked this time to mention that an inspection fee of $60 would be added. I should have been made aware of this inspection cost when I first dropped off the tools. I will not be coming back to this shop for any future tool repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Told me due to Covid delays that it could be 7-8 weeks before they could even look at my repair. They had it done in 2 and at a fair price. Under promised and over delivered. Very pleased with the work done here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is full of thieves and rip off artists. My father an elderly senior took in his belt sander as the sandpaper was not tracking straight. All it needed was a 30 second adjustment of the set screw to align the sandpaper that they did while he was standing there. For this they charged him $37.00. Any company with any kind of integrity would have showed a customer that all it needed was a simple screw adjustment and not charge them anything, winning a customer for life. Instead they took advantage of, and completely ripping off an elderly senior. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I can't imagine how bad they rip off others on repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never recommend anyone. Had a table saw from homedepot under warranty to repair handed over to quality tools in September 2021. I was told it will be 6 weeks before they get to it. Have not heard anything from them yet. It's Jan,2022.

Way too long waiting time for repair whatever you have to, but they do not even contact you when they are over on the time frame what they gave to you. I was upset waiting after 6 weeks and they said, oh.. we did not touched your tool so far. I expected some sort of custom care, there is not much there
