Was a nice place to camp, my grandparents had been coming here for years before they were forced to move the site they had cleaned up and made their own because someone couldn't figure out how to re-number the sites. The man that dealt with it was rude. These sites offer no shade really so it's pretty hot. Sometimes you can see whales at the right time of season. Lots of seals and bird watching opportunities. Usually a quiet campground , has flush toilets .

If you can snag a few sites along the oceanfront you’re set! Wind is definitely something to be mindful of. The rest of the place was meh. But the woman who took my questions was lovely and helpful. It just wasn’t for me. I wanted a bit more privacy and amenities.

My family and I went on a 7 day camping trip on Vancouver Island and stayed at 3 different campsites. This campsite was definitely our favorite of the 3. We landed a spot right along the water and let me just say that the views were breathtaking. We could see the sunrise and the sunset & the stars were incredible. There are showers AND wifi! The sites are close together but our family of 4 had no issues, my kids would roam the beach most of the day anyway. Hearing the ravens all day were beautiful. We will DEFINITELY come back next year.

Spent 3 nights here in August 2021. The Good: great tenting spots! Waterfront is waterfront. Any closer and you'll get wet from the tide coming in. Showers and flushable toilets are CLEAN, convenience store onsite is a great idea in case you run out of the essentials. Also, good to have so many water taps to draw water from nearby. Best I've seen so far amongst ALL campsite in Greater Van area. The "Meh"/Bad: it gets WINDY at night being so close to the water. So peg your tents down and bundle up for cold nights - even though hot days! The "Ugly": showers close at 6pm - yes, 6pm!! And they cost $1 per 5 mins use. Campsites aren't cheap so it seems a bit stingy to be charging to use the showers. That said, I was ok with it as I always got to use the shower when I wanted. Flushable washrooms and store close at 8pm. Again, way too early! LIke many people, not a fan of porto potties but the ones I saw (close to water front) were clean, and had side urinals inside - not just a seat so great NOT to spray all over for the ladies.

Was closed when I arrived. Had to look for another campground. No information on the website that it was closed. (May 10th)

Oceanfront views from many lots, and access to the beach for all! Drove past, saw the sign and turned in. One night stay turned into three nights because of the epic sunsets and ocean views. Impressive what this First Nation has done. Clean, lovely campsite for $20-40/site depending on location and amenities. They said they always have room in the overflow field, even on a long weekend. We loved it! Paddle boarded down the coast a few minutes to get delicious tacos at the beachside stand (get the fish) and got Thai noodles the next night. Went hiking to a local waterfalls and had a delightfully cold swim. Can buy firewood on the site, and had nightly fires on the beach (campsite rules are no fires in the sites, only on the beach). Dog friendly, just keep them on leash. Only improvement (and it wasn’t a game changer) would be the limited hours on flush toilets and showers, and portapotties ran out of TP and got dirty quickly on a long weekend (just bring your own TP and sanitizer). Great place, friendly camp staff and lots to do in a laid back place. We’ll be back!

Had a wonderful first experience at this campground. Beautiful beach and views of the ocean. There is always a breeze!Definitely not a provincial site. It is mostly set up for and visited by large RVs even where there isn't hook-ups. There are nice tenting spots but they are not very level and are close to the highway.

We had the best stay here. It was so nice to camp by the beach. We had everything we needed and we were really happy. Thanks!
