β β β β β is suing the estate of a Kamloops-area man who died nearly two years ago when his vehicle collided with a transport truck on Highway 5 near Little Fort.
Q Line Trucking Ltd. has filed a notice of civil claim in BC Supreme Court against the estate of Joey Ressler, seeking more than $33,000 in towing and repair costs incurred as a result of the crash.
According to the claim, Ressler was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt on Highway 5 on Feb. 5, 2020, when he lost control. The vehicle struck another truck, then collided with the Q Line semi, the claim states.
Ressler, a 39-year-old man from Clearwater, died in the crash.
