I am so unbelievably disappointed. I ordered two albums from Amazon at the same time. For some reason they were shipped separately. One arrived b y Canada Post on December 8. The other was supposed to arrive here between the 12th and 14th. In the rush of Christmas shopping, I only realized today that it still hasn't arrived. I went back to the email and tracked it, only to read that they left it at my side door on December 8th. NO ONE has ever delivered to the side door. Every other item I have ordered online has been delivered to the front door. The side door is further up the driveway and the door is almost never used. My husband has only used it once in the past few weeks. The record was not there. So, a Christmas present worth $46 is gone. They say they will investigate but it is my word against there's. I don't expect that this issue will be resolved if the driver insists he left it here. I have read of problems with Purolator before. My son receives deliveries monthly, handled by Purolator, and I can't tell you how many times they said he was "not home" for delivery, necessitating a half-hour drive to their depot before their 7 o'clock closing. I will never knowingly use them for a delivery again.

Normally I don't like to leave negative reviews but from my current and past experience, I have never received a package from Purolator at home, at least not recently. Every time it seems to be a Friday, I'm patiently refreshing the tracking page, and suddenly an error pops up saying receiver not available. The driver (8LC) does not buzz, nor leave a notice (I'm suspicious that the driver never even came, as I have been downstairs waiting at the time he claimed to have missed me before), and if I'm lucky I will be able to pick it up at 7pm that evening. That is if the staff are willing to check in the package that is sitting in the back or I have to wait till Monday. The staff on Upper James were helpful and looked throughout the back for the package and then investigated the issue. First they said the driver (8LC) did not get a response from the receiver, but then realized that the driver (8LC) did not have the correct address. They stated the driver (8LC) never left Mount Hope because the address was not entered properly by the driver (8LC). How can the driver (8LC) have not received a response from the receiver if he did not have the address correct? Sounds like a case of another driver needing an early Friday off, I don't feel like doing my job and driving from Mount Hope to Hamilton. So because the driver (8LC) doesn't know how to use GPS, nobody knows where my package is. Hopefully they'll know Monday when I call. Customer service tells me it's not their job and to call the store, the store tells me to call customer service. The theme of Purolator service, from the driver, to customer service on the phone or the store is "that's not my job". Honestly the only people who were helpful at all, at least in person, were at the Upper James store employees. It seems all other delivery options, including FedEx, UPS and the post office are delivered to my door without issue. In addition, as I was there waiting at the Upper James store to see if my package was there, I saw a poor couple whose "brand new" baby crib from toys'r'us was in a clearly mangled box. It makes me wonder if Purolator drivers can do any part of their job, even if they deliver it, the package is destroyed or damaged. Reading all of the 1 star reviews previous to mine, believe me, they are accurate.

Horrific service. 2 items shipped first week of Dec. One item arrived within a few days. The second item did not. Early delay initially due to weather and that was certainly reasonable. Since then the second identical item has been placed on the truck for deliver for 6 days now with notification it "was being delivered" each day. We do not live far from the shipping depot so remoteness is not an excuse here. It is now the mad rush for Christmas shipping time and clearly the priority is to pick up parcels and secure the high profit work of last minute shipments. They now have no idea when we will receive our item. I'm sure the pick up service is better just don't have an expectation your items will be delivered within a reasonable time or even when they say so. Customer service was another exercise in futility with the typical company jargon to give you some false sense that your issue remotely matters to them. This type of response is expected when a customer is rude or their expectations are unrealistic but this is far from that. There is a very good reason why the reviews here are so terrible. Having worked in the industry many years ago I have a little better insight than the average persons into how this industry works. If I was an investor in this company I would be crying right now. As a consumer I will exercise the only option available and never ship anything with Purolator, nor will I purchase from any company where they are the shipping option.

The worse delivery company I have ever used. A waste of time and money! A one day express package will be delivered to you in four days!!?? So Ridiculous!

Ordered food from a Keto-based company. Only half of my order made it on the one day, the balance was still to come. Purolator "claims" they attempted a delivery but were unsuccessful, but at no time did a truck or anybody come to my house. When I called they were unsympathetic and said I'd have to wait until the next day. By that time, as I explained to them, the food would likely be spoiled. This has happened many times in the past, where the truck doesn't show but I have to make a special trip to their depot and pick it up myself! They are the absolute worse of the couriers out there. Had no choice of courier as the company that sold the product used them, however, do not use Purolator, they are terrible!

The Meadowlands courier is awesome always on time polite and pickups and drops off all packages with care and a smile. He has been great.

Delivery times have been delayed with no updates from Purolator. A 1 day package has been in the sorting facility for 2 weeks and customer service does nothing to assist. High suggest another carrier at this time.

Best shipping company in Canada ?? Next day service is awesome ? especially under the tremendous stress of coivid and online shopping. Unsung heroes delivering packages every day thru it all .
