★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just to say a big THANK YOU to Jean Noel for the most amazing hair cut and style i got in a decade. I was very stiff as i got some bad experiences before. He was very welcoming in a warm, humble, smooth and intelligent way. He examined my hair and listened to what I wanted, and then gave me a stupendous cut: well shaped, versatile, easy to maintain. I have fine hair and I felt every hair got attention today and the cut put it its right place. He styled it in a "je ne sais quois" way using different brushes, and the natural look and feel of my hair followed swiftly. He also moved softly around the chair and he got light hands. I really loved my experience and I will only cut my hair in Montreal from now on. I also need to give credit to Caterine at reception for being patient with me and trying to find me a good fit for what I asked in a very busy time of the week and day. She is a sweet heart, very gently and kind, and a good listener. while multitasking. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Liliana

My appointment started with a receptionist loudly exclaiming to their colleague how my name was "so long" and "impossible to pronounce". Then every other person I met there said the same kind of thing, including France, the hairstylist I was scheduled with. During the 3 minutes they spent cutting my hair (in the most bizarre, haphazard way), France went on to enquire where I was from and whether my partner 'was also Indian'. After informing me that my hair was flat at the roots, France somehow managed to make me look like Gandalf. Oh, and they tried to charge me $110 for this *cough* *cough* haircut.
Admittedly, I was 15 minutes late and did only ask for a trim - could that explain my experience? I think not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went back for a redo to make the colour look more natural. I was told I didn't request for natural (even though I know I did) and that it was impossible to get the color I want if I don't curl it... After the redo, I went to the reception to leave a tip even though I was told the service was free since I felt bad that they weren't getting paid. The receptionist confirmed the service was free while I gave them tips. I told the receptionist to thank my hairdresser for me since I didn't see him before leaving, but he said he could go get him and it would make him happy. My hairdresser came back only to tell me he was charging me and left without even giving me the time to say thanks. I ended up paying twice for a result I dislike and I got hives all around my hairline for at least a week due to their products. Overall, it feels like I got taken advantage of. Never going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mandie is amazing. I don't trust everyone with my hair and I dyed my hair blonde from very dark brown with her. She did a great job. Also I had to gt rid of covid long hair and the haircut was also ended up being perfect. I booked twice in the last 3 month and every time had a great experience. As an anglophone in Montreal I like to have my hair service in English so I can explain the details and the salon accommodate that very well. Pictures are from dark to blonde. The integrity of my hair was still preserved and I was finally able to have blonde hair without damaging my hair
