★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived in Montreal for 2.5 years and this was my go to barbershop. Mario is one of the best barbers I have ever had. Not only is he skilled, but he is funny and pleasant to talk to. He makes that half hour far more enjoyable. I would go at least once a week to get my beard trimmed and the line up was always picture perfect. I am pretty sure I miss the barbershop more than I miss the city itself. I have recommended it to many friends and will always take my buddies when they come to visit the city.

He does it exactly the way you have it in mind and his barbershop is very clean. The other barbers who work there are also nice and welcoming. Definitely worth trying!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gotten my hair cut at Le Cartier several times (and at least once by each of the gentlemen that work here). Each time has been excellent as all three barbers are friendly, skilled and professional. Also, every time I have gotten my hair cut here, I've walked in without an appointment was served immediately. In addition, the haircuts are reasonably priced and are affordable for students such as myself. I would definitely recommend this place!
