Amazing place!! Adorable puppies, nice yoga flow. They provide mats if you do not have your own. I especially liked how the "puppy wranglers" would move the puppies around so everyone gets a chance for some puppy snuggles. Do yourself a favour and sign up right now!!!

These people are exploiting puppies this business is a complete joke for people that are the same :) I know the response you have no record etc etc so all the one star reviews didn’t attend your class? I find that odd

Felt the need to leave this review after 1. Having an amazing time - like the most relaxing and unforgettable way to start a Sunday ever :) and 2. Because clearly there is someone spamming Puppy Love Yoga with 1 star reviews.... as someone that has actually been to the class, this is an amazing operation. The puppies are taken very well care of, the breeders are partnering with them to help them socialize with people before being incorporated into their own families. Anyone falsely reviewing this place should be ashamed. Will 100% return, and soon. More people in TO could use a dose of puppy love on a regular basis :) thank you!!

I have taken my kids to a few of the classes because they had such an amazing time - and the puppies are just irresistible! I love that they provide their own mats and the place has such a great vibe. Everyone leaves with huge smiles on their faces. If you like dogs, even just a little bit, you have to go. You won't regret it.

'Puppy Love Yoga' is more fun than...well....a barrel of puppies!!! The yoga instruction is great (a bit of a challenge for the teachers but they all adapt perfectly well to the diversion of cute puppies). The adorable puppies are so much fun (and make for incredible 'photo ops'!) and just add that extra bit of enjoyment to the already good yoga classes. Attending a 'Puppy Love Yoga' class is a win-win for all. Your body will thank you for giving it the attention it needs and the puppies benefit from the wonderful socialization that the class provides. I LOVE 'Puppy Love 'Yoga' and will continue to support this fabulous cause!

The yoga Instructor was amazing - kind, engaging and went around the classroom interacting with people, making sure we were having a great experience. The breeders who came in were also really nice - always watching over the puppies and encouraged us to play with them and helped everyone to take photos at the end. Thank you for a lovely afternoon :)

This is such a great idea. The people were wonderful. The Save our Scruffs staff was really kind and the puppies were the most adorable things I have ever seen!!

I first heard about this business through an Instagram account (Narcity Canada). I commented on the post being genuinely concerned for the welfare of these animals. After all, no reputable and ethical breeder would send their puppies here for "socialization" as this business encourages the dogs to run up and greet new people and get all up in their personal space. Which yes, is cute when they are puppies, but not when they're 70+ pounds fully grown dragging you down the street in every which direction attempting to meet new people. From a young age, these dogs are programmed to see new people as stimulating and rewarding, and this business reinforces that behaviour daily. The new adoptive owner (unless highly knowledgeable in dog training methods) is on the same level playing field as every other person in the dogs environment. The dog won't see them as a leader, won't turn to them for guidance, if the owner allows them to fulfill this self-rewarding behaviour of always greeting new people. The dog then feels more in control of its environment, being able to do as he/she pleases. Becomes harder to train because there is no bond. No structure. No boundaries. This will ultimately create a myriad of behavioual problems, as most owners won't see it as an issue until some unhappy pedestrian yells at the dog to get off, or an unfriendly dog negatively reacts to all the excitement, or just pure frustration building up in the dog from being held back and told no. And guess who pays the price? The animal. It's the animal that's going to turn reactive to people and dogs, and search out alternative outlets to relieve frustration. It's the animal who's going to get dumped off at an animal shelter for being unmanageable. It's the animal that this business is doing a disservice to by not paying for its rehabilitation fees, for a behaviour that it created and encouraged right from the beginning. From my perspective (and many others who also reached out on Instagram being genuinely concerned), this is a case of neglectful animal cruelty. These puppies have absolutely no place in this business, being taken advantage of simply because of their age. These puppies are more than just objects within a business model, they are independent, living, and sentient beings, but unfortunately this business does not treat nor value them as such. In response, the instagram account of this business only commented laughing face emojis and blocked my account, which goes to show they have absolutely no welfare consideration for these animals. On other people's comments, they had responded using curse words and called people trolls, in addition to using sarcasm (a customer wanted a refund for a pre-sale ticket, business responds with "why would you buy a ticket than ?"). If you go on Yelp, you will see a lot of customers either had problems reaching out for refunds when the class was cancelled without notice, or were banned from attending any future classes by asking simple questions. Very unprofessional to say the least. If you love dogs and support even the most basic animal care and welfare practices, and also value yourself as a customer deserving of professional services, then avoid this business as you will find neither of those things there.
