Oh my goodness! Well, Daniel from Pump My Tank came to our house today and he was the bomb! The last company we got to come empty the septic tank told me that I only needed to have one side done. Being septic newbies we didn't think anything of it and paid the full price. Daniel explained how the whole septic system works to us in detail and explained that both tanks are to be emptied. The last company ripped us off. Daniel was pleasant and took the time to do the job right and well like his grandpa taught him (if you're going to do the job, do it well). It's a good feeling when you feel you got your monies worth and were treated kindly. We will definitely use Pump My Tank again and send Daniel please. He's a keeper.

The Best In The Business! We've been using Pump My Tank for over 8 years now and every time we need them they are very responsive with quick service. They've emptied our septic tank, unclogged our pipe, and provided advice on how to best maintain our septic system. I am a home owner doesn’t know anything about septic tank but bought a house with one a few years back. It’s always been my ex dealing with these stuff so I never invested myself understanding it. Time flies and it’s been almost three years since last time it was “pumped”(you will find out why there’s quotation mark). As I had no contact of who to call for service, I started searching on google map and found this pump my tank. “It seems to have good reviews and let’s give it a try”, that’s what I was thinking when I called. The lady picked up my call was very friendly and patient (educating a septic dummy on all the terms). The appointment booking was very seamless. Friday morning, Darren(I think that’s his name) showed up at our door in the morning and I showed his where the blue lid was and he said where is the other lid. And I went, “there is a second lid?” I never knew there’s a second lid lol. He used his tool (a long stick with a hook on one end, not sure what it is called) to poke around in the lawn a few times and he located the second lid. Took him a while to expose it (dig all the dirt out, about 1 foot deep). Apparently the previous company never pumped this half of the tank and it was very full and the fluid was very thick and smelly already. Darren also gave us a few advice about how to maintain it, as well as what we can do to keep it exposed all the time so next time we don’t have to remove the grass and dirt again. We drove up to the store on the same day to pick up the material he mentioned. Unfortunately, one part was stored deep in the back that they had to deliver it the next Monday. Mark(I think the owner) delivered it himself on Monday. Their store/office is very clean, extremely well organized and maintained. Darren is very professional, efficient, friendly! he knows his stuff really well! They are my septic go-to-company now! Extremely happy with their service!

In the spring, we started to notice that there was septic "water" on the ground over the septic tank area. We called Pump My Tank and they sent someone over as soon as they could to pump out the tank. After this was done, it was highly recommended to call the office to book an appointment to have the septic system evaluated. It was old. The house was built in 1966. A week later, the owner arrived at the exact scheduled time, which impressed the heck out of me!!!! He proceeded to dig up the old tank and lines. When done, he explained exactly what I was looking at....in the hole and monetarily. All was explained in terms that I could understand! Impressive! After discussing what needed to be done (tank rejuvenation), it was completed that day. All I had to do was re-seed the lawn, Easy peasy! The septic system should be good for another 10 years!!!!! I highly recommend Pump My Tank! My experience was good from the initial phone call to the office to job completion!!!!

Had Daniel and Jeff come pump my septic tank - very knowledgeable, professional. Wasn't an easy job, started hailing at one point, and the guys were great. Highly recommend them in the Barrie area.

I generally don't write reviews but our experience with Pump My Tank was simply amazing. Gerald Robertson from Pump My Tank came out to our house to empty our septic tank. We are first time home owners and have never had a septic system before. He was tremendously helpful providing guidance and tips in how to treat and maintain the septic tank system so we can get the longest longevity out of it. There are so many tips we simply did not know and we are so thankful for them. He was there simply for emptying the tank but taking the time for educating us and going that extra mile really meant a lot. I highly recommend Pump My Tank. We called and had an appointment the next day. Our tank was particularly difficult but Daniel and Ryan were positive and friendly the entire time. Daniel answered all my questions professionally. We will definitely be calling them the next time we need our tank pumped!

We first noticed signs of septic system failure in the summer of 2019. As the cottage is a waterfront property, we figured the high water levels were impeding the septic performance. We took a "wait and see" approach as we heard financial horror stories about septic system replacement. In the summer of 2020 the situation worsened and the septic system was unusable! Effluent overflowed from the buried access cover with every flush! Pesky water levels.... (we thought). In early 2021, the water levels receded on Georgian Bay. It was explained that over time , tree roots, sand, and other debris gunk up the lines in the drain field until they can no longer accept waste water. We decided to proceed. Mark and his team arrived on a blustery April morning in 2021. They started QUICK and finished FAST! in under 3 hours, they were able to remove the old clay manifold, hydro-jet the 6 drainage runs, reassemble in PVC, and even add a filter in the second tank. We spent the entire summer of 2021 at the cottage and the system didn't miss a beat - it was good as new! Don't put this off and limit your flushes on your sacred summer weekends.
