For the whole process, from making the claim till receiving my money, it only took 9 days. I'm very happy with their service. They really deserve this 5 star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was sold a Prysm car policy upon purchasing a new car. It was supposed to be a seamless switch with my current insurer which was Intact insurance. It did not turn out that way at all and I had to go thru a complicated process. Lots of waisted time and misrepresentation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on my earlier good experiences with CAA and the guidance for insurance in their website and magazine, I chose Prysm.
A claim was filed on January 2021. It is now August 2021 and the work is NOT complete.
Between January and March, the service agents chose to sleep over the claim file, expecting me to wake them up every now and then to remind them what the status of my claim was.
In March they found an estimator who arrived and gave a quote for the work. Now, the agents did say, it will take into spring since the snow has to melt. PATIENT was I until April.
In May the contractor, who gave a quote and asked for a deposit. He even said his best guy was on the job and next week things would be taken care of. I was very happy finally the work is getting done. A week later, when I called the contractor, they said they won't do it and refunded the deposit.
When I called back to Prysm, the agents accepted, they were in knowledge and were TRYING to find a solution.
I sent PRYSM a note of disappointment and a request to be connected to the OMBUDSMAN. This was never entertained. I also sent IA a note of disappointment. This was not entertained either.
In other words, the frustration was a similar experience in any other 3rd class place.
I even tried to approach CAA to round trip and ask them to avoid publicizing PRYSM as their underwriter. However, the CAA website isn't friendly enough to take this comment either.
I doubt if PRYSM agents even underwrite their properties with PRYSM.
Unless you have deep pockets or deep connections within PRYSM, NEVER.... NEVER.... go back....
