I am having my own difficulties with this builders. Customer service requires polishing. They have to be more professional with their subcontractors. These subcontractors can take them for a ride like plumbers garage floor installers painters so on. Their vice president is gentleman but other staff down below him require some sort ethics to deal with people.

Would definitely recommend prominent if you plan on building a new home. Everyone on the team starting from Dave to Arsh, Sukhbir and everyone else were exceptionally professional and paid attention to every one of my requests.

Very poor service and communication. I will not recommend to buy from this company just problems. Edgemont sells person is never available. Never answered calls, emails, messages. Beginning of construction was promised to start on September 2021. Now February 2022 and they decided to cancel our contract because of material prices increase. I almost sold my old house. Will never deal with you guys again.

We have had nothing but problems with prominent homes since purchasing in 2020. We have been pushed around, not responded to, ran around in circles with still no step in the right direction. To start we noticed issues before we even moved in and were promised they would be fixed. Issue 1- our railing going upstairs was pushed into the wall causing damage and was also loose we asked for this to be fixed prior to being moved in ( when we moved in the railing had been " fixed" by adding putty and the railing being installed in the exact same location which was not even a stud) This railing actually fell out of the wall when my 2 year old's head bumped the railing 2.5 months after moving in. Issue 2 - Our vinyl flooring on the main floor has been damaged as well as improperly installed since purchase, after several emails they said they would be in to fix it. The first repair was made with a hair dryer and a rubber mallet as the prominent employee was completely sure that I as a woman could not be possibly right as it must just be shifting even though it was visibly not, i said the damaged pieces need to be replaced not re stuck. After having the area supervisor come in he said that the pieces needed to be replaced so 2 boxes of flooring were brought to my home to be installed after 2 install dates delayed and cancelled and us continuing to contact them they finally came to our home with the flooring company that makes the vinyl to be told by the flooring company that the entire floor needs to be replaced as they built the subfloor wrong and it was not the product they have since refused to discuss fixing this and have referred us to Home warranty which we can no longer claim as it is past our 1 year and they knew this. Issue 3- Our basement stairs are supported by 1 2x4 yes you read that right 1 2x4 our home inspector was appalled at the complete lack of care as this could cause serious injury and we have young children in our home when this was brought up they said it would be fixed These are the 3 GIANT issues among lots of little defects in our home. All of our emails to prominent homes have now been ignored and phone calls unreturned and we are stuck between Alberta Home Warranty , Fixing it ourselves, or a legal battle. This is completely physically and emotionally draining dealing with a company with a obvious lack of care and poor customer service We would NOT recommend this company to anyone ___ We have sent a email to respond to the reply by prominent homes will update

We have a problem on our master bedroom ceiling and master bathroom ceiling. I messaged them, email them,phone them and raised my concern since January of 2019 but then it's been 2 years without an action from them. I gave them the details. Gap on the ceiling is getting longer and bigger but they haven't do anything to help us. I waited last friday for their call to schedule an appointment for them to look out but it seems that they don't care at all. We have lots of issues in our house and message thembut no single respond.They are unhelpful and not easy to deal with in terms of house concerns.

I purchased my home from Prominent builders and moved in about 6 months ago. Spending about half a year in the home is perfect time to share realistic feedback. The entire experience of buying, building and possession was great. The sales rep. Tracy did great job in getting all the requirements, specs documented into the agreement and helped in getting overall deal in decent price. The office has very wide range of selection for interiors designs, decorations, fixtures, fittings and materials. We could reach out to vendors for additional selections. Sukhbir was helpful in choosing right combination and material. The home building was an interesting experience. Site supervisor Rup Kumar was the best in terms of sharing construction update, re-assuring upgraded specs and arranging periodic site visits. He ensured that all specs and selections are correctly built and installed with great quality and care. The home was ready just within expected time and hassle free move in. Overall extremely good teamwork, great build and perfect value for money. Would highly recommend.

Right from understanding our vision, lot selection and developing the perfect house plan, the team at Prominent Homes has been very accommodating and supportive. Not only did they creatively designed the layout of our house to accommodate everything on our list, but they also offered a large selection of products and upgraded appliances, to fit within our budget. We now have a well-designed, beautiful 7-bedroom/5-bath 2500 Sq. Ft house on a walkout lot overseeing a pond where my family and I can watch sunsets every day! I would certainly recommend Prominent Homes Edmonton – as they build quality homes for every budget and have an amazing team to work with! Thank you for everything!
