★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree the building manager Lack communication, doesn't know how to talk nicely and polite to people she just pretend to be nice, this place is costly compared to the nearest apartmenst I'm moving out right away, how can a lease jump from $956 to $1269 market price and no free Telus, come on!!?I bet money will take people to hell one day, and telling us they care for us what care if not in action.?, Always small notification (notes) we don't feel like home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking lots doesn't have CCTV cameras. It twice that my vehicle got vandalize and they say that there's nothing they could do. I wonder it other apertments have protection for their tenants vehicles?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been living in this apt from last couple of years but I found out person in charge for the building has very poor management skill. Can't able to fix your problems or issues. When u go to leasing office to complaint about their poor management, they will get mad on you. AND if you are an immigrant they will be picking on you. High rent with No place for kids to play, too many restriction, no amenities. Finally divided to move out because of poor management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I scheduled an appointment to see an apartment. When I arrived it was very difficult to figure out which building the leasing office was in--luckily, a resident gave me directions. After calling the leasing office 3 times I called customer service. The first representative emailed the leasing agent but no one came. A second call to customer services yielded a phone call from a leasing agent in another city.
After that I left without seeing anyone working there, let alone the apartment.
I have seen other apartments run by boardwalk that are on top of viewings and managing the space, perhaps it was a bad day but this doesn't seem like one of them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lived here for 2 years, worst 2 years of my life and I've lived in my car before. It's basically an overpriced slum where all hope goes to die. The building is always cranked to the highest temperature possible, especially during those long hot summers. Think you can battle the heat with A/C? Nope Boardwalk has a strict no A/C policy. They changed our lease up last year long after we were allowed to back out, so we were stuck for another year in the s*** hole. The building maintaince guy, every morning at 8am until 4pm would be out there with his leaf blower, blowing nothing. I couldn't sleep for years, and I work nights.
I wish I could give them zero or -5 stars, they don't deserve one star.
Then when the lease was just about up they tried to trick us into staying by refusing to give us the form that says we won't sign another lease.
During the final walkthrough they couldn't do it at a convenient time, only Thursday at 12pm. I show up at 12pm, missing work, and they're not here. I call boardwalk and they said they might be there in an hour or so. 1 hour and 30 minutes later. I cut my losses and left because I NEED TO WORK.
The most unorganized, unacceptable, ridiculous behavior. I will never rent with Boardwalk ever again and I will make sure everyone I know never chooses Boardwalk.
Save yourself the stress and go with anyone but Boardwalk Apartments, because you'll never feel at peace living in one of their properties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best beautiful location in reasonable price on SW Calgary. Boardwalk is number one rental company in entire Canada with 24/7 customer service. Telus package is on without any contract with upto 70% off. I am renting the suite with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We lived here for 3 years and called it the Bates Motel. Old, dated and over priced. We moved across the country right into these and when we got there we got attidute for not arriving at an exact hour. No move in inspection because your site supervisor was on vacation but magically there was one when we moved out. The apartment was so dirty when we moved in that there were long dark hairs across the bathroom walls. The baseboards had sent been cleaned in years and we scrubbed everything down. We moved out and spent and entire day cleaning (3 people) and I own a carpet cleaner so they were done every few months. Somehow they claimed it was so dirty that I didn't get my deposit back. We went through more site supervisors than I can count, I started photographing me dropping the rent cheque in because they'd claim you were late and at least one of the 3 dryers were always broken. It's a nice neighbourhood and good transit, that's it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been living here for 8 weeks, and so far so good! I love using the resident portal for talking to the landlord and putting in a maintenance request (one minor issue with the front door that was fixed the next day). Many options for rental payments, access to an app for doing laundry, and parking spot included. Pet and family friendly building that is very well maintained. I feel I made a great choice going with Boardwalk.
