Purchased a projector bulb from this site, ended up defective. $365.91 and they won't refund it. 4 months later still no support. still not refunded. Scam site, be careful. Find different site to order from.

Wanna pay 30$ for premium express shipment that takes more than a month to ship a product indicated "in stock"? Because that's what happens here. Oh and not a single notification to let you know that your order will be delayed. Poor service; meanwhile your credit card is processed right away don't worry about that !

As a heads up, I found Projector Lamp Source to be decent (product, price, shipping), until I needed customer service. The confusingly written return policy ends up being 1 month, and I was at 1.5 months when attempting to return an unopened/undamaged bulb that was intended as a holiday gift. I was shown no kindness, and this experience doesn't seem to be mine alone according to Projector Central forum, unfortunately.

Do not buy here. I purchased an "OEM" lamp in March 2018, just about 2 years later after 100-200 hours of use, the $350 lamp exploded and now I'm having to replace it again. I just took it out to look at the bulb housing and few observations: - Chinese writing on the back - Screws that were used to assemble the housing are stripped and cannot be removed so now I need a new housing and bulb - Few plastic anchors have broken off for no apparent reason I highly doubt an OEM product would be of this poor quality after 2 years of very light use, especially considering the $350 price tag. Please do not buy here! Find your product elsewhere.

Lamp took weeks to finally ship. When I finally got my bulb it's a knockoff. Now my projector has a terrible beeping noise because of the bulb. Certainly wasn't expecting that for what I paid. I'd avoid this site.

We got two bulbs for our church to use around April 2020, installed the first one right away which was working fine. Installed the other one around August 2021. When it was installed, the projector displayed a warning message that it didn't recognize the lamp as OEM. It then failed with less than 50 hours of total service time. I then reached out to their to their customer service and return specialist. They were firm with no return because one year warranty has elapsed. I try to persuade them using the Sales of Goods Act of Ontario, no dice. So I called again to see if they can give me the contacts of the manufacturer so i can talk to them directly. They wound't volunteer this information which is understandable. I then pivoted and asked them how can they substantiate their claim of 100% genuine lamp? They answer was because they been in the business for a long time and the manufacturer is trustworthy. This mind you without any evidence/documentation. In summary: 1)this lamp wasn't recognized as genuine by our projector 2)they failed to uphold the Sales of Goods Act of Ontario which can't be overridden by companies own warranty policy (take for example Apple's warranty statement: THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM PROVINCE TO PROVINCE. OTHER THAN AS PERMITTED BY LAW, APPLE DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE, INCLUDING THOSE THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE NONCONFORMITY OF A SALES CONTRACT. FOR A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RIGHTS YOU SHOULD CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR PROVINCE.) 3)they don't actually provide any concrete proof that the lamps are genuine. Their evasiveness is a cause of concern. I would not recommend buying from this company. Also, I will keep on trying to find out if i can go through other legal means to get this lamp replaced. Thanks for reading and stay healthy

Horrible customer service, Poor Quality. Prices are higher than other suppliers but I expected quality components and good customer service. NOT! Replacement lamp for Epson projector ordered. When received replacement from Projector Lamp Source, it was completely non-functional - dead! The part was not marked with any manufacturers branding, and clearly not supplied from "100% Genuine/Original from the OEM projector lamp manufacturers" as per the PLS web site. Replacement process is NOT for customer service, fill out a form, wait for "Returns Department" to send RMA, then must ship the faulty lamp back before PLS will even send a replacement. TERRIBLE customer service. When we asked about the higher pricing and the PLS "Pricing Guarantee", the CSR commented "you can buy cheaper but you won't get PLS good quality!" ha-ha! Telephone CSR was just plain belligerent. Recommend staying away from Projector Lamp Source. [Update: now told that they can't offer replacement lamp for faulty item because of an inventory error at their warehouse. Hoping for $ reimbursement.]
