★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was visiting family in Brampton last weekend and we decided it would be nice to take a walk around Professors Lake.
Although it was a beautiful day; it was very uncomfortable for me. There was absolutely NO social distancing on the walkway - which itself may barely be 2m wide. People were just walking anywhere they wanted, sometimes 3, 4 ,5 abreast. Other than myself, I saw maybe 2 other people with masks on. There was absolutely NO social distancing. I had to walk single file either in front of or behind my partner to keep some distance between me and others. Pretty difficult to carry on a conversation that way. Just to pass other people on the walkway, we had to pass so close to each other, it was almost claustrophobic . People fishing right behind the "NO Fishing" sign; litter caught up in the tree branches and on the ground; dog poo on the path; runners, joggers, cyclists without any concern; just so many people.
I would definitely recommend NOT going there on a weekend / holiday; and stay away altogether if you are at all concerned about the spread of the virus / variants.

If it's a nice weather then I would say pack ur food and sit there and have it.
With the nice view of lake at the top of the garden and peace.
U ll love it for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little oasis right in the middle of the city. There's a trail around the park and a little park on a hill that allows you to view the entire Lake from a hill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good place to chill out with family and friends. It has trail, park for kids, sitting area, etc. You can do boating and fishing when restrictions will be lifted. It has great view from the sitting area of the lake.
