Along with learning martial arts and getting great physical conditioning, every child is taught respect and held closely accountable by all instructors. I highly recommend this dojo to any parent looking for an environment that will grow grow their child into the best possible version of themselves.

Classes are motivating and very structured. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There are open spaces for younger kids to wait for older siblings and for parents to sit and watch. My son is very happy here and says: "I find Prodigy very fun; it's a good place to get more flexible and learn new karate skills."

They also create a bond not only with the children, but also with the parents. My brother has been attending this dojo for 1.5 years and he absolutely loves it, always looking forward to class. It's a great environment for learning while shaping kids' values and self-confidence. Very happy with our experience here!

A	Andrea Dear on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! A real Dojo environment. The Instructors are very professional but also VERY good with the kids (of all ages). My son is on the shy side and is also prone to shutting down if he "loses" at anything. The instructors at Prodigy have created a fun and safe environment in which my son has gained a great deal of confidence, which carries over into his home and school life. This does not mean he never shuts down anymore, but when he does the instructors at Prodigy always go the extra mile to talk him through his feelings and help him to get back out there, try his best, and understand that the only person he is truly competing against is himself. Not only do they teach the techniques of Goju Ryu, and how these techniques can be used in real life situations, they also have a "lesson of the week" where they focus on the more philosophical teachings of martial arts. My son is only 5.5 but he understands many of the teachings as the instructors ensure that they cater the lesson to the age group in front of them. The instructors, the programming, classes and even set up of the Dojo, with ample seating for parents to watch, make Prodigy feel like a community. One that my family is proud to be a part of.

Turned me from an unsure boy who hid his insecurities by being overconfident into a teacher who can handle a conversation. Can’t imagine myself being anywhere else, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Prodigy. I Highly Recommend this place of training as I and Mr. Shields will love to see more new faces show up!!
