Someone obviously needed it as much as we did. I immediately called Princess Auto and a wonderfully helpful woman apologized for the inconvenience and immediately refunded/re-ordered the item. I was shocked that the replacement arrived at my home the very next day. Great customer service!! Thanks Princess Auto!
C	C Lin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in Waterloo and placed an order for pickup on an item that was otherwise sold out elsewhere. Since I was going so far to pick up a single item, I scheduled other events along the way and set aside 15 minutes for the pickup. I never needed more than 5 minutes at the Princess Auto in Kitchener. I found a long line at a counter (which should have a label on it identifying it as Customer Service or a pick up station by the way) and two people behind the counter but only one person working. After waiting 10 minutes, I gave up and went to a cashier to get the pickup handled since the email said any employee could do it. The cashier had never done it before but he tried 3 times over 5 minutes to get the warehouse people to call back so he could get the order. Nobody returned the call and I was directed back to the Service counter which now had one person manning it and hadn’t moved much. I ultimately gave up after 25 minutes as I had other things to so. I’ll go somewhere else to buy the item I wanted.

Thank goodness the last women I asked took me directly to the sale item and even she said she wasn’t sure that it would be there. Thanks to the women in Hamilton with the pink and purple hair for being such a great help.

I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff at the Hamilton location of Princess Auto were today. They understood his goals, were extremely patient and informative, and they walked him through a few options that he hadn't considered. There are few places were I feel comfortable letting my kid entirely drive the conversation and this is now one of them. Kudos to the staff!!

I understand that many retailers are struggling to keep product coming in, bit over the last few months, this store has gotten to look more like a Soviet department store. Of the six fairly diverse items I came for, none were in stock. Not one. As I don't live near a store, it's a bit of a trip to come in, and most of the time, it's a wasted one. Of course due to the nature of retail in Canada, there is virtually no competitors to patronize, so I'm forced to order these items online, something I loath.

While the selection is great some of the items are of questionable quality....they will work but don't expect them to last. The prices are very affordable so you get what you pay for. Staff in my experience are friendly and helpful. Sales are usually very good.
