Jason Gullett of Prestige Steel is the most unprofessional person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Prestige’s contracts are purposely designed to be vague & ambiguous. If you make the mistake of moving forward with them in any form, make sure that everything is properly broken down in detail and priced accordingly. Be very weary as Jason will lie to you and push you at every turn to get your deposit. Wanting to make sure that everything got approved with the town first before giving Prestige Steel the building deposit, we requested to have the engineer stamped building drawings created first. The cost of the engineering stamped building drawings is $3000 industry wide, but Jason made us give him a $10,000 deposit to create these drawings. He assured us that this is only a deposit and that the building drawings would be free and included in the purchase of the building. As soon as he took our deposit, his lies and games started. He lied to us about taking care of the framed openings for large doors and windows. Once he got the deposit he left a huge gap/hole on the south side of our steel building and said that the window company is responsible for the framing of the large windows. All window companies told us that the Steel Company is responsible for the framing of the large windows which Prestige Steel promised to take care of before taking our deposit. The straw that broke the camel’s back was his changed stance on currency fluctuations. Prestige Steel is a 3rd party distributor of Corle Building Systems which is an American Company, so they sell the building in terms of US dollars. We came to an agreement with Jason Gullett in terms of the US Dollar rate. We agreed that if the price fluctuated upward or downward, that the price of the building would also be adjusted accordingly once we were ready to order the building. A few months later, the US dollar took a tumble and Jason then played the denial game and even had the audacity to tell us that prices had gone up. At this point, we decided that it was best not to move forward with Corle at all because of all the dishonesty and games that we had experienced with Jason Gullett and given the fact that Corle was forcing us to deal directly with Jason Gullett, rather than dealing with us directly. This is the worst customer service & experience that I’ve ever had. Jason also lied about being able to use these the Corle Drawings elsewhere, which is simply not true because other companies have different engineering and refinement methods for their engineered steel. Stay away from Prestige and go directly with other reputable steel building manufacturers with proven track records.

Mike from Havelock Posted: Nov 23, 2016 Purchased Building From Prestige I own Blairton Trailer Park in Havelock Ontario and I was looking to build a 60'x100' steel storage building for my business. I did my homework for about a year and after weeding through all the scammers out there I had hammered it down to two companies. I had special requests for the building like extra height and essentially no slope and colour of interior beams. I was now down to one, Prestige. The other company could do what I needed but it was really going to cost me. I am in construction so we just purchased the building and we constructed it. That being said on the day of delivery Jason and his main man were down on my property when the truck arrived and went through the material with a fine tooth comb. We also called him during construction and he would help us through the fine print every time. I have and will always recommend his team as they were awesome through the whole process. I am looking at doing another building soon and I will not even bother shopping around as I know that nobody can touch his price, apples to apples and life long experience.

Jason helped me through everything. I had a bad experience with a company called Kodiak Steel Building Inc (name keeps changing) and they ran off and didn't complete the project. Jason was there from day one to guide me and show me how to finish on time. He supplied his workers to fix errors and also introduce me to the right suppliers and rental companies. I 100% recommend Jason and his workers for any projects you have coming up, please feel free to call for any questions about his work.

I recommend Jason for any project you are undertaking. While some companies boast that they have integrity, Jason Gullett of Prestige Steel Buildings actually does. He is always where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there. Honesty and best business practices are always forefront in his mind. Having had a bad experience with another company, I am so thankful to have come in contact with Jason. I recommend Prestige Steel Buildings to my friends and family.

I’ve been dealing with this company for about a year now on and off and they have been great to deal with. Everyone is very helpful and any issues were resolved quickly. I would highly recommend doing business with this company. They are very knowledgeable in the design of the steel buildings and also help with the permit process which can be time consuming. It was a no brainer to choose Prestige.

Prestige Steel Buildings were responsible for the erection of our steel building from preparing and pouring the cement pad to assembling the building to completion. Jason was excellent to work with and the work was done in a very timely manner. Jason's crew were all very skilled and professional and I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for similar work done. An excellent construction process overall
