About Preschool 101
At Preschool 101, we provide a foundation of learning through play. "Play is a 'laboratory' in which children can be active explorers of their own environments, active creators of new experiences and active participants in their own development." (Quoted from: Child Development: Its Nature and Course, 3rd Edition. Lillard A.S. (1993). No one teaches a child how to play; it is done naturally. As teachers, we guide the children through play by implementing programs that are age and developmentally-appropriate, which then allows children to think about how to manage various situations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son attended this preschool 3 days a week for the last 2 years. You will not find a better preschool in Calgary. My son has enjoyed his time here immensely! The teachers here do an absolutely excellent job, and the care about your kids like they are family....they genuinely have their best interests at heart. This school is very clean, and the programming is amazing. My son could literally skip kindergarten. Their communication with parents is also top notch. I have nothing negative to say as this was the perfect environment for my child. I wish them all the best, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Preschool 101 and the wonderful teachers there have been such a great place for my girls. Both of my girls attend(ed) and I have nothing but good things to say. Both kids love to go there, the staff are welcoming and friendly. the environment is warm and full of learning. The classroom is very well kept, clean and organized. The kids learn routine and also have fun while learning. They come home with fun crafts they made every week. Preschool 101 has been a huge part of the foundation of learning for my children and I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love this pre-school. Initially, we were a little nervous as our 3 years old daughter never went to any daycare before. However, just after few days of transition period, she loves this place and even wants to go there over the weekend. A place the kid wants to go everyday after waking up is more than enough for any words!

Some days she returns home with some drawing or craft she worked on. The teachers and assistants are wonderful. Thank you so much for all you do with these preschoolers!

Each week my daughter looks forward to going to her class and bringing home a new craft. I always look forward to hearing about my daughters day and what new things she has learned.

He looks forward to going to school every morning and his communication skills and vocabulary has greatly improved. He comes home everyday with so many craft work from school. He is so happy. The staff are so professional and friendly too. We love it.
