It was like being left alone in a sweet fantasy land. The word to describe the fragrance, smell and taste of this sweets wonderland is not yet coined. Its simply sweetilicious. Purchase their Misthi Doi, (remarkable and brings the memory of Bengal to your tongue) and Was Malai. Though the actual sweet was delicious, the syrup was a little watery. I know its a bit far from my place, but I am going to go back for more of their heavenly sweets. Friends, if you enjoy and have a sweet to the like me, here is the place to visitm- and to hell with your waistline.

Sweets are good. But honestly, I expected more from the Kacchi but thats that I guess. Kala bhuna was nowhere near. Jali kabab was ok. Raita provided with salad was very good.

Update: 5 stars to 1 star. Now I understand the frustration of other clients. Exp3nsive but no customer service. Yesterday, they gave Chat when asked for Chai, I paid for it took it without making it a big issue "dont try their chat, it went in garbage". Today, I bought apx 230$ sweets (10-12 boxes). They fail to understand a single client buying so many sweets, maybe because it's for giveaway gift to friends and family. Sweets were given in plastic container, no issue there because I'm going to put them in carry on cooler. However, when I asked for 3 empty boxes of their regular box, yah 3, so I can arrange the sweets in Premium box for gift, they said NO ?. I went to this location, because other locations always out of stock. This location, 2 kind of sweets were unavailable, kolija shingara was unavailable. I didn't mind, I replaced the missing items with less desired items of matching dollars. Even after that, they cheap out on client asking for 3 empty boxes. Keep your business and boxes to yourself ? I was asking other clients to consider taste for bengali cuisine after seeing many bad reviews. This place is not worth it. People, I'm sorry for my previous review below. Eat at your Bengali friend's house, sure they make better biriyani, teheri, kachchi, khichuri with lots of love. Old review: It is Bangladeshi authentic cuisine. Name of the dishes/sweets are similar but taste is different from Indo-Canadian or indian pakistani cuisine. Therefore dont expect indian/pakistani style biriyani and etc or be disappointed. Sweets and yogurt are traditional Bengali style treats, not traditional indian sweets. Try their shingara stuffed with meat or liver, different from famous potato stuffed. Hope you grow love for new flavors and new type of sweets.

Our dine-in experience on 23rd Nov 2021 was terrible. The goat rezala was served at room temperature. When we politely asked the hostess/waitress she said she "literally got it from the kitchen". That doesn't change the fact that the meat being served is at room temperature which can be deadly. The food itself was a huge mixed bag. I was hoping she would offer to heat it again but that didn't happen. The samosas ("shingara") were quite good and have a unique vegetarian stuffing that's quite tasty. The bhel puri is a huge failure with hardly any flavor profile at all. The "hot chot Poti" is basically a hot chaat without the "hot" aspect. I think if you are from any part of India apart from Bengal, you might find the food here to be light on flavor and heavy on prices. I tried. I shall skip the dining altogether next time and just pick up the desserts/sweets for gifting.

Last weekend, I visited the 1999 headquarters of Premium Sweets in Mississauga, Toronto, specialising in paneer (or Ricotta)-based β€œFinest Bengal Mithai”. This spot is the place for Bengali sweets and savoury eateries. I got my hands on a couple of my favorite sweets: Kancha Sana, Vogh Sagar, Khir Toast, Khir Kodom, Roll Shondesh, Sanar Toast, Cham Cham, and Nadia Shondesh. My favourite was the Khir Toast, the perfect amount of freshness and deliciousness. This place emphasizes nostalgic cravings over plain hunger, giving flavourful savoury dishes for an instant joyous family dining experience. There are over 100 authentic Bengali desserts, along with slow-cooked savoury dishes and ready-to-eat meals. The brand has a sophisticated interior, selective packaging, and a great service in an upmarket setting that compliments the lifestyle of Bangladeshi people. Interested in gift wrapping, more sweets, customized platters, live catering, and party rooms ~ check this place out! To hear about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram and Facebook.

Their Halim was worst. Too much salt in it , I bet I can make better halim than them. It costs $13 I guess but the quantity is not enough for 2 people. I forgot to take a photo of Halim. But their sweets are delicious. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations

First visit - tried few different kinds of Bengali specialty sweets. The store is super clean, every item well presented and nicely arranged. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable, big thanks to Rumana. I certainly recommend this great place. I'm definitely going again to try the food.
