I didn't expect to find a card store in Banff, i happened to be walking through a small mall and found a display on the side of one of the halls that had some of the merchandise that was sold there and directions to the store. I thought that was pretty neat. The owner was very friendly and knew his stuff. He had lots of rare items that are hard to find elsewhere and had just what i was looking for, lots of interesting things to see. I had a good experience shopping at Premier Sportscards and will definitely dropped by again next time im in the area.

I think this shop is really good for card collectors! The guy is very nice, and he has a large variety of cards. I am a huge pokemon fan, so I buy pokemon cards. His are slightly expensive, but I am very lucky there and he also has very old cards they don't sell anymore!

trash prices, charged 90 for a box that’s 30 at Walmart, waste of time. Rude owner who yelled at me for touching a product to look at it. β€œOnly touch if you’re buying”

Do not go here! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I was stupid and went for cards, the prices are marked up way too much! Please do not waste your time here. The owner was very rude and yelled at me for touching cards. β€œOnly touch if you buy” he said. Please whatever you do, do not waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Never have I had a bad experience in a card shop, like I did today. The owner is absolutely crazy. Pricing cards 5 times more then what there worth? Make him a fair offer on an over priced card and he swears at me, tells me to leave and buy it somewhere else. Fn crazy man! If I could give a lower rating I would

I've been going to this shop every time I visit Banff which is maybe once every one or two years for the last 15 years his prices are way overpriced but I always go to see what he has. Today I went because I was interested in some Magic the Gathering and I know he had old sets. After looking at what the owner had I asked about an old set and asked if he had any. He was very rude and says "Not for you" and starts yelling at me. I was taken back and was like what just happened. He then continues and says, "Your not a loyal customer, I have two boxes and good luck you'll never find them". Of course I'm not a loyal customer Banff is a freaken tourist town. I dont buy stuff from him often because his prices are ridiculous however today I was willing to bit the bullet and pay a premium for stuff that's out of print. Never have I been verbally assaulted for trying to buy product, all he had to do was say I'm sold out or it's on hold for someone. Usually I never write reviews however his behavior has been bothering me all day. I will never go back again regardless what overpriced vintage stuff he has. Maybe he was having a bad day I don't know, however I would like an apology, unfortunately he will probably never see this...

My first time ever coming I wanted some old yugioh cards but the owner came off as kinda unwelcoming to me and I was a bit put back by it. Despite that experience he had what I wanted at a great price considering how rare and vintage it was, I’m a long time yugioh player and have been going back to his shop for years and he taught me a lesson to never judge a book by its cover because after all these years he opened up to me and shown he really is a sweet guy you just have to get to know him.

Read all the reviews about this place and truthfully speaking, the owner Milan is a gem. First time going there and found out about the place from TeamSamuraiX1 on youtube. Milan was so welcoming towards myself, my wife and my 1yr old daughter. Milan even gave my daughter a free pack and I couldn't have been so thankful for how welcoming and respectful he was towards us during our visit. We talked quite a while about Yu-Gi-Oh since thats what I was buying. Hell, I even recorded a video of the transaction, Milan and the products for my youtube channel! He sold me a few products of Yu-Gi-Oh and yes I can agree to an extent pricing is a little overpriced but you're buying from Banff, Alberta and the store is a legit hobby store. He has vintage Yu-Gi-Oh booster boxes that were released back in 2003-2005. Knowing how old those boxes are, its definitely not something that can be overpriced. Overall, my experience at Premier Sportscards was a blast and I would definitely come back to purchase more packs in the future and 100% recommend this place for someone who's visiting Banff, Alberta and into Yu-Gi-Oh!
