I wish I could show pictures of there work. Stay clear of this company they have the horrible workmanship and now I’m stuck with $6000 of junk because I paid thinking they would honour there workmanship defects. 1.5 years later and they will not answer any calls or return them. They hid in the back of the shop when I come to the office to talk with Joe. I hope this will save others from the problems I’m going through. All I want is it fixed but that’s not looking like it’s going to happen

We just had our living room windows replaced by Prairie Boy Windows, Doors, Exteriors. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the windows (two casements and one picture) and with the quality of the installation. I highly recommend Prairie Boy, and will certainly look to them for replacing our other windows. A special "thank you" to Greg and Linden who did the installation--so impressed with your workmanship.

Great work and excellent customer service. Joe has return all my calls and is always around to talk at shop. Not sure what Dallas is talking about I’ve have the total opposite service from them. I totally recommend them.

Windows and install team are fantastic! The woman that answers the phone seems to get a bit overwhelmed and does not return calls ever. I have had to call her back every time. She is however very pleasant and quite enjoyable to deal with on the phone. The guys that did my install were great. They cleaned up and did a fantastic job,.

In November, 2021, gave a deposit of $1000.00 for work to be done. no communication since. Have sent numerous email messages and have made telephone calls, requesting our $1000.00 deposit be refunded, but to no avail. There have been no responses. Next option will be thru the judicial system.

If I could do zero, I would... so not impressed... ordered windows July 2021... were told October, then were told February, and finally told around the end of March that it would be the week after Easter for install... the week after Easter was last week (Apr 18-22) in my mind, but giving the benefit to allow this week... Not one phone call... had to call them, AGAIN, and now being told 2-3 more weeks and they'll try.. Horrible! Will cancel the deal altogether and just go with another company if I have to at this point... May 31, still no windows installed... We have called numerous times, phone calls go unreturned... Left message again to call me back by end of day TODAY or they have windows in their inventory that are measured to my almost 100 year old home, good luck finding another that they fit in too

Absolutely horrible experience. Paid a 50% deposit on a sliding door in like October - was told 6 to 8 weeks to install. I stressed the timing because our existing sliding door freezes up in the winter and is horrible to use, they told me no problem. At the twelve week mark I called for an update and the runaround began. The receptionist always had the same thing to say 'I'll remind Joe (the owner) and he'll call with an update'. This went on for many weeks. Just before Christmas they told me the door was in and they'd call in January for an install. In late January I had to travel for work, our existing door was miserable to use, and my wife was pregnant - I called Prairie Boy and pleaded with them to come and install our door. Receptionist sympathized with me and told me that she'd call Joe to schedule an emergency install. Many weeks went by again and nothing. Sometime in March I started calling every single day to find out where my door was. I presented three options - come and install the door, let me pick up the door and I'll install it, or cancel the order and I'll go elsewhere. After another couple weeks of me calling basically every single day they finally admitted that they didn't actually have the door. In fact, I was told that Joe would call the manufacturer and see about cancelling the order if I wanted. My guess is they never actually ordered my door, but I'll never know. After many more calls I was told that they would refund me, and that Joe would sent me an EMT for the deposit amount within a few days. Another several days go by and nothing, so I start calling again. Eventually I tell them that if I didn't see that EMT in two days I'd back charge my credit card - thankfully I paid the deposit on MasterCard for exactly this reason. The receptionist asked me several times NOT to do this, as she'd be the one dealing with it and they were no longer on the Moneris payment system. She claimed it was because of the fees, but I sometimes wonder if it's because other people went through the same thing. Three days went by and I back charged the card. I was well past MasterCard's 120-day deadline, but I was happy to provide them an e-mail chain and many recorded phone calls with promises of EMT refunds. I am posting this review now because I just received notice that MasterCard has closed the dispute and we are keeping our money. I hope the recovery folks at MasterCard were successful and that they pursued Prairie Boy much more aggressively than I could have. It sounds like a lot of people have had a similar experience over the last 6 months. Each time someone asks about our new windows and doors (we went with someone else) I make a point to steer them away from Prairie Boy. Don't waste your money (just my opinion).
