Founded in Winnipeg, and with over 20 years of experience helping people across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Prairie Battery has become the trusted go-to source for all types of customer.

In addition, we have a secondary location in Brandon, Manitoba, and a third location in Regina, Saskatchewan, which provides another distribution point for varying customer needs. We also serve Edmonton, Alberta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just happened that on the day we were moving from Brandon to Ontario, the battery in my wife’s vehicle died. Was able to jump it and get it down to the guys at Prairie Battery on 18th St. They helped me take out the old battery (which just happened to be a slow time of the day, usually they are overwhelmed by customers) and put in the new one (all my tools were packed in the uhaul already). Huge lifesaver. Amazing customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing staff at this location! Greg really knows his stuff, right down to the model numbers and specifications of various battery types! Never had to wait for service. Highly recommend this location for all your battery needs, they also sell more than just car batteries. Solar panels, LIFEPO4 batteries and also power tool batteries.

But the last Saturday I call they had 1 battery and they would hold it for me. I told them I couldn't make it in till Monday the guy said that was fine it will be here for me. I call Monday as I was on my way in as I was over a hour away. They sold it.. I guess someone else was more important then I was. No problem they had a shipment coming in the next day so that was fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a battery, took home to install, prior to installation observed battery was cracked around post, returned to Brandon location, was pretty much called a liar , no warranty horrible service and very rude manager. Do not shop here beware!!!!!

In regards to the comment made about “It was extremely discharged from a parasitic drain and that truck sat for a very long time.” To anyone buying brand name Prairie Batteries: the truck did not in fact sit for more than two days, but more so the fact they were only 3 months old. This being said how good can these batteries be if you can not leave them for three months.
In regards to the comment made about “You took the battery and left and then called us 2 weeks later and told us we gave you a cracked battery.” Well that is indeed a lie. The phone call was made on the issue 3 days after the battery was picked up on a Friday. During this three day period and the commute home from Brandon the battery had not left the back seat of my truck. The discussion was made to bring the battery back, however I was not able to RETURN the battery for two weeks to a busy schedule.
In regards to the comment made about “You proceeded to threaten us and stated that you were going to damage our reputation through a series of fake google reviews.” This was absolutely true minus the “a series of fake”. I merely just want people to be made aware of the encounter I had with prairie brand name batteries and their staff.
