Friendly staff and fellow gym goers, a really positive environment. The gym has a rough and rugged look, and also contributes to the motivation to go hard.

Since then I have received notices three times from a collections agency that I owe money, I paid two of them after being assured that with these payments everything would be closed and end, and now I have heard from collections again. There is no voicemail to the phone number and no one answers to be able to sort it out. Pay the extra money monthly and go to a gym that doesn't scam you for years.
E	Ev Phantom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the time gyms were closed, they sent my file to collections twice in one month (month of January, 2022), all because my card on file recently expired and they did not bother to contact me. I was with this gym for 2 years and never missed a payment. I couldn’t even get a hold of them to update my credit card info, as they were closed. I was going to clear everything up when the gyms reopened, but was shocked when collections called me. They even charged me an annual fee when gyms were closed. After the gyms re-opened, I went in person to cancel and had to pay 2 months in advance, on top of the annual fee. Such B.S. I will not be recommending this to any of my friends and family. They had better management back when they were WORLD GYM. They are very “sneaky”. They will send your file to collections without even making an attempt to contact you, so beware before signing up. I’m still getting calls from collections, after I canceled my membership and PAID all the outstanding fees. I even received a receipt of cancellation. Anyhow, save yourselves the trouble by signing up with this gym. There are PLENTY of better gyms around.

The couple that cleans every morning makes you feel like you're part of the fit fam. Love the motivation and pump this gym brings to my fitness goals. Definitely SHOULD charge more for memberships!
K	Kandace Bolger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the absolute worst gym to deal with DO NOT waste your money or sign any contract. They will scam you to no end. I have called and emailed for months with no reply. I moved out of town and finally was able to stop in to cancel my account. Only to be met with the owner who continuously screamed at me (while I am 6 months pregnant). After explaining I had called and emailed with no reply I was met with "what the hell is that going to do!". I am blown away with how they deal with their customer service, being aggressive and intimidating is not how you run a business. I have been a member for over 4 years and have used their facility twice. I was never contacted when they moved from world gym to powerhouse and truly thought it was just closed down. I wish I would of recorded the interaction because it would be appalling for anyone to see a grown man yell at a pregnant woman who inquired to cancel a membership this way. Please do not support these crooks.

There is a ton of equipment. The gym is always super clean! This gym by far has the best atmosphere. I would recommend Powerhouse . Try them out . Prices are right as well

Although things have changed around but still get you covered for your basic workout needs. Lots of machines, free weights around so you don’t need to worry about waiting your turn. Yes It does get pretty busy but I think once you go a few times you’ll figure out what works for you best. Peak hours don’t really effect things much especially that the gym is big. With the addition of new racks I never had a problem finding a squat rack and even if they’re full they usually open up pretty quickly as you warm up. Now let’s discuss charges, there are fees, yearly maintenance and what not, which you may need to keep an eye on if you end up not following up on things or if ur credit card wasn’t charged for some reason like expiration and all that. My advice, don’t neglect just because it is a cheap gym membership. But even if you do it’s not that big of a deal comparing with other gyms. Lockers and showers are okay, I used to shower here back in the day but not sure how things are after Covid. Overall great affordable gym. Have I been a member even when I moved around and joined other gyms. Yes! You can’t get a better deal than this and you’re always welcome back!
